We talk quite a bit about G-Power tuning around here but we often don’t mention a few things such as pricing and availability.
It’s not because we don’t want to it’s because there’s plenty of information missing on it, be it the kind that’s intentionally neglected or overcome by other aspects.
Given the German tuner’s MO, everybody tends to focus on the performance and forget the price or any other niggle in labeling them as fantasy cars.
Well, the fantasy car maker has just reached a sales milestone. Unlike the guys at BMW, heir milestone is considerably smaller, they managed to sell 100 units.
The celebration of this success came in making themselves the gift of a new car, it’s a new edition of their infamous Hurricane RR kit for the E60 BMW M5.
What used to be an amazing naturally aspirated 5.0 liter V10 is now a twin-supercharged mutant which pumps out 830 horsepower and 575 lb-ft of torque.
Naturally, there’s a host of other updates tweaking the rest of the car to keep up with the raging torrent of power that lives under the bonnet.
G-Power then give the BMW M5 Hurricane RR a new electric blue paintjob and you’re ready to be on your way in one of the fastest sedans ever to roam the roads.
How fast? Well 0 to 62 happens in 4.3 seconds, 0 to 124mph in 9.1 seconds and 0 to 186 mph in just 25.2 seconds.
Keep that loud pedal flat for a while longer than that and you’ll be going even further than 230 mph. How’s that for Autobahn storming?
