What a breath of stale air. After a long time spent looking into brand new models and the tweaks they’ve received, we have a chance to take a second look at this.
It’s the E46 BMW 3 Series and it’s certainly not in standard condition. The ones who are guilt for the changes are Prior Design.
That’s a pretty big name but it seems that the name is really the only actual major benefit of the package in question.
The alloy wheels do look stunning and their black and white effect seems to work best with how the car is painted white and has dark tinted windows.
We’re not looking at a completely two tone effect but overall it seems that the idea is fairly well headed in the similar direction.
From there on things look a little less impressive. The black painted turn signals are simply horrid and though Prior Design made an effort into faking the look of an M powered car, it didn’t go to plan.
The front end actually seems to have been cobbled together by shrinking an F10 M5 bumper in the washing machine. The side skirts look even worse.
What is really bad though is the back. This is where we see the same sort of M5 inspired look, complete with fake exhausts.
Remember, this is a E46 3 Series so it could very well be powered by a 1.8 liter four pot. That’s not the sort of engine that needs quad exhausts, right?
