It’s always been my favorite color and I still look in admiration to all sorts of old techno violet BMW 3 Series models I see going about.
Naturally, I had to pay attention when a couple of custom car aficionados decided to take an F10 BMW 5 Series and give it some retro coloring.
I will accept that it’s not the one look that everybody agrees with but the I really believe the finished product has something SEMA about itself.
Diamond Black Exteriors are the guys behind this product and I’m suddenly a fan. Not only did they get the colors right (in my mind), they managed to silence a few critics.
All those guys who keep on describing the F10 as a humorless machine because of its well defined presence and its rather sober exterior look can now shut up.
No photocopier sales king would have a purple F10 5 Series and not even plenty of tuning fans be proud of the way their new car is purple. I like that.
Moving on, there are a few tweaks to consider alongside the new purple wrap. The grey and black accents do keep a tad of balance on the look.
A set of Concavo CW-S5 20 inch wheels are thrown into the mix alongside an ECU remap, a new exhaust system and a sports suspension setup.
It’s pretty clear that I love it, what about you guys? Are you on board with a little bit of flash in an otherwise mundane situation?
Does anyone know the brand of the front lip spoiler on this vehicle? Also, where can I purchase the front lip spoiler?
