By now it is common to see powerful vehicles donated or sold to police forces around the world, and Dubai has the best line-up.
What is not that common is seeing top notch cars prepped and donated as ambulances.
But BMW did just that. They prepared an X3 model to go around and save people’s lives, with seven brand new X3 xDrive20d units donated to the local Red Cross.
“We are pleased that in future, not only the municipal emergency physicians, but all Bavarian rescue teams will drive BMW X3s,” Alexander Thorwirth, BMW Group head of sales for public authorities said in a press release.”
BMW has great plans for the future also, with some 200 X3 units being made available for use as utilitarian vehicles for not only the Red Cross, but also fire departments and other emergency services.
