Ever since the 4 Series was announced, aftermarket specialists were just dying to get their hands on one.

And for good reason, as it is the successor of possibly the best BMW tuning platform out there.

So when AC Schnitzer came out with their product for the 4 Series convertible, there was little wonder they managed to do it in such a short time. As far as visuals go, not much was done to it, as AC Schnitzer just offers a few choices of wheels, chrome exhaust tips and various other knick knacks.

Performance wise, the tuner did its due diligence, as every drive option got a power upgrade. Thus, the 420d gets a power bump from 181 Hp to 215 Hp, while the 420i goes from 181 Hp to 241 Hp. Moving up the range, we get the 428i, which has a power increase from 241 Hp to 289 Hp. The 435i goes from 302 Hp to 355 Hp, while the range topping 435d goes from 308 Hp to 355 Hp.
