There are a lot of home projects that hold a lot of promise, and this particular Isetta is one of them.
Fitted by its owner with a massive V8 engine, the BMW Isetta is now a genuine pocket rocket.
Considering that the engine is almost as big as the rest of the car, it kind of leave you wondering why would anyone do this to his car. But there are actually a lot of small cars out there that sport an engine fit for quarry trucks. The BMW Isetta uses one from a Rover 75 that displaces 4.6 liters and can churn out some 300 Hp.
One thing that is painfully missing on this build, however, is a wheelie bar, which is pretty much mandatory on such builds. But unless the owner decides to floor it (even a bit), he should be fine. Apart from the oversized engine, the BMW Isetta was also draped with a new and funky paintjob with flames and Marvin the Martian.
