It’s no secret that the BMW i8 is more than just future on wheels. It is a work of art and itself a remarkable piece of engineering, which is why nobody, including us thought it could be possible to improve what was already perfect.
The guys at Wheels Boutque obviously thought otherwise and decided to show us how much more stylish the i8 could be with an ideal set of rims in collaboration with all sorts of trims and finishes BMW did not pay much attention to.
The HRE P101 are the center of the masterpiece, being the only swapped element on the car, but which greatly contributes to the overall new image. The rims themselves are made out of a light but durable metal which in comparison to the manufacturer fitted version seem to work much better overall with the vehicle per se.
In addition to the wheels, the Wheels Boutique version of the BMW i8 has been painted in a dark matte tone with trims sporting the same color as the rims, heavily contrasting and bringing into view the car’s contour and general futuristic design.
The BMW i8, even though a hybrid, can achieve an impressive 4.4 sec time when bursting from 0 to 100km/h and that while reducing emissions to a generally minuscule 49 g/km. No need to add the fact that technically speaking the car doesn’t need any further upgrades. The BMW i8 is a perfectly balanced car and will remain that way due to its style and performance.
