Hamann`s BMW M2 Coupe Is More Powerful with the New Kit

Here we are again with another outstanding tuning project carried out on the BMW`s latest star, the 2016 BMW M2 Coupe. And in case you sensed any irony here, just forget it, cause it`s not. Yes, here we are with….it`s just my amaze when seeing a standout M2 Coupe.

We have seen so far lots of BMW M2 Coupes getting their fair share of fame from worldwide tuners such as Manhart, Vorsteiner, Prior Design, and recently, from the German tuner Hamann Motorsport. The technicians have worked their magic underneath as well as at the exterior.

As a reminder, the 2016 BMW M2 Coupe unveiled at the beginning of the year, is fully tweaked with a plethora of M Performance Parts at the exterior as well as inside, while in the performance area, the model looks exceptionally powerful.

In the stock version, the model with a 3.0-liter M TwinPower Turbo inline flat-six engine, churning out 370 horsepower and 465 Nm of torque. This is enough to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds with a DCT and 4.5 seconds with the manual.

However, with the tuner`s new power kit, involving an ECU remapping, the model is capable of delivering 420 horsepower and 530 Nm of torque, now able to go for a straight line racing against its older sibling, the M3.

From a mechanical point of view, the power is also achieved thanks to the Hamann`s custom exhaust system with quad tailpipes, adding the high-performance Hamann Anniversary Evo alloy wheels, which add more grip and stability.
