The gorgeous 2016 BMW M2 Coupe is popping-up into the spotlights once more in other power upgrade carried out this time by the aftermarket specialists from German-based Mcchip-DKR tuner.
Even if we are familiar with the model receiving hundreds of styling programs and performance upgrades, each project is unique as it shows the car`s multi-personality, and that because the tuners provide their extensive work and dedications when customizing such a gorgeous model.
At the exterior, the BMW M2 Coupe by Mcchip-DKR remains basically the same, the design being highlighted by the M Parts, which make it extremely aggressive and appealing. The same high-end treatment is carried out inside, the cabin coming with the same M Parts which increase its sporty character.
In the engine department however, the model is like reborn from the ashes. As you already know by now, the 2-Series` top of the line M2 Coupe is packing a 3.0-liter M TwinPower Turbo inline flat-six engine, churning out 370 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. This is enough to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds with a DCT and 4.5 seconds with the manual.
However, with the tuner`s new power kit, the car is capable of delivering more power. We are looking here at the fitting of a new tuning chip which brings the M2 Coupe closer to the BMW M4 in terms of performance figures and torque.
This means that the model is now coming with an ECU remapping and new turbochargers, which increase the power to a total of 441 horsepower and 564 Nm of torque. This means that the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h has been also improved, meaning less than 4.2 seconds. Even so, this is only a prediction, as the tuner hasn`t released the official figure yet.
