And while a drag race is not a very complex test, at least it shows just how powerful a car really is.

The guys from The Fast Lane Car took both the Alpina B6 and a Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (MY 2015), found an abandoned location and pit them against one another. On paper, the numbers seem to lean towards the BMW winning this one, and the fact that there is also an all wheel drive system on the BMW doesn’t help the Corvette’s case.

The Vet is, however, much lighter, so you never know what might happen. Under its hood it can unleash 450 HP and 610 Nm, a tad smaller numbers than the Alpina B6, which is good for 540 HP and 700 Nm.
