With a valvetronic exhaust system, you get the mad sound of racer at the push of a button, but you can still enjoy a smoother sound if you feel like kicking back.

And the product Armytrix provided is quite good at what it does. Although, in all honesty, most enthusiasts are now waiting for some aftermarket pieces for the new F80 BMW M3 or the F82 BMW M4, which could seriously use an upgrade when it comes to exhaust sound.

The F30 3 Series is not what you would call tame or bland in its stock form, but most reviews today say it is far superior, at least sound-wise, compared the the last generation. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for that little extra.
