Still, with 17 BMW art cars currently in the manufacturer’s garage, spanning several decades, we think a lot of people might be wrong.

Among the first art cars, Roy Lichtenstein’s 320i Turbo will be presented in Hong Kong. I am no art critic, but I do like Lichtenstein’s design, while I wouldn’t know the significance behind it. In his own words, the “painted lines symbolize the road the car has to follow and the artwork also portrays the surroundings through which the car is being driven”.

One of many more Bimmers presented in Hong Kong, the art car is sure to attract a lot of attention, with chances to actually be the center piece of the manufacturer’s display. The event will take place between the 15th and 18th of May, with over 245 galleries from 39 countries taking part.
