Spy shots have come in with what seems to be the next project of the guys from Alpina. Their latest creation include the B3 which is a 3 Series BMW and the XD3, based on the BMW X3.

This latest installment will featured a BMW 6 Series GranCoupe. And we should be able to see it at its official unveiling later this year at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Alpina BMW 6-Series GranCoupe Spy Shot

Their choice of the version is a BMW 650i, fitted with a 4.4 liter twin turbo V8 engine. Fresh out of the factory, this version of the 6 Series is good for about 450 Hp and 650 Nm of torque. Rumors indicate that after the wizards from Alpina are finished with it, the engine will be able to churn out 540 Hp.

Alpina BMW 6-Series GranCoupe Spy Shot

As for the body work on the BMW 650i, Alpina are planning to mess around with the front end while also adding bigger wheels, quad exhaust pipes and a huge wing attached to the trunk lid. As far as the interior goes, we can’t really tell anything from the spy shots, but we can expect the usual bits and pieces Alpina puts on its BMW’s.
