I am talking about the engine, or more particular, the sound it produces.

In many opinions the previous generation, with its naturally aspirated engine, just gave off a far more pleasing purr when you drove it. Of these, two particular special editions were kings of the hill: the GTS and CRT versions. While the GTS was more track oriented, the CRT put more value on luxury, and both were fierce beasts.

Aftermarket specialist G-Power got a hold of one of each, and now presented a worthy give off for the past era. Thanks to some G-Power magic and a nice ASA supercharger, both these vehicles now produce 650 Hp and 630 Nm of torque, number that propel the car to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds before topping at 323 km/h.

Last time they revised the M3 GTS, they installed the Power SK II “Sporty Drive” supercharger, and this was about two years ago.

At the time, the modifications brought the power output to 635 Hp. Now G-Power plans to take it even further with another upgrade that will give the BMW M3 GTS 650 Hp and 630 Nm of torque. These numbers allow for an acceleration time to 100 km/h of just 4.1 seconds and in 11.8 seconds it will get to 200 km/h.

The new supercharger kit will sport the price of 23.500 EUR alone, not counting the installation fees. There are also additional options that are provided to improve on the BMW M3 GTS, like 7.437 EUR worth of Silverstone CS forged alloy wheels 20 inches wide. For even more customization, you can get ceramic brakes for either front (14.460 EUR) or rear (11.778 EUR) or even both if you have the money.
