It is about the exquisite and rather rare Matte Purple body wrap which enhances the aggressive look of both the BMW M4 and the M6 coupes, in an effort to create the perfect design lines ever seen on a coupe bimmer.

Besides the splendid and perfect colour wrap, there are also the wheels that confer both cars with that aggressive stance we`ve all been waiting in the stock form. The M4 Coupe stands on a set of Ferrada FR5 rims, while the M6 gets the bigger FR8 wheels. Both are covered in the same finish and perfectly complement the Matte Purple. Add the new suspension systems which lower the cars` ride and you have the perfect well-balanced stance.

Unfortunately, as much as we would have wanted new juice under the hood, the owner of these beloved models decided to leave the powertrains intact. Even so, we still get to enjoy plenty of power, torque and impressive performance figures.

The BMW M4 Coupe packs the legendary 3.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine with 425 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, enough to deliver a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds with the standard six-speed manual transmission, and 4.1 seconds with the seven-speed M-DCT.

On the other side, the BMW M6 is equipped with a 4.4-liter with the same technology (BMW TwinPower Turbo), outputting 560 horsepower and 677 Nm of torque. However, the massive engine keeps the performance figure to 4.3 seconds. Both also comes with an electronically-limited speed of 250 km/h.

The tuner`s latest project involves this exquisite red BMW M6, the sports car receiving a new set of wheels, called the “V-FF 103”. They are sized 21 inches and come with Carbon Graphite finish, a red center cap and a five-twin spoke design, which perfectly complement the overall look.

Besides the hot wheels, this red BMW M6 hasn’t received any other exterior goodies, as it already looks imposing and extremely aggressive.

Under the hood, the BMW M6 uses the stock 4.4-liter twin turbo V8 engine, squeezing out 552 horsepower and 680 Nm of torque, and a topping of an electronically limited 250 km/h.

With this impressive numbers, the BMW M6 sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds, but can go faster, 3.9 seconds, if installed with the Competition Package which raises the car`s power to a whopping 592 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque.

The BMW M6 is not the only “subject” fitted with the V-FF 103 Carbon Graphite alloys, the tuner also turning its attention to the one-off Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG or the C63 AMG Coupe.

And the latest tuning project comes from North Carolina, where the DRM Motorworx tuning division has carried out some interesting body mods as well as some power upgrades under the hood, the entire work being carried out with the help of other different tuning divisions.

From instance, the entire lemon body wrapping was done by Wrap-Tastic, the model receiving some carbon fiber components at the body as well, like the carbon fiber roof or aero parts.

The entire body work is complemented by the 22-inch Maglia wheels, borrowed from Forgiato, which give it a special look and feel.

A special treatment was also carried out under the hood, where this lemon BMW M6 has received a power kit from the ECU Tuning Group, but unfortunately, the tuner has not released any info on that matter. However, we might guess that the power upgrade would be enough to reach more than whopping 320 km/h.

Thus, BMW M6 is worthy of the best performance figures, managing to reach 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds, at a topping of 250 km/h. However, fitted with the M Driver`s Package on the car and you will have 300 km/h to brag about.

The owner of this BMW M6 Convertible took the car to the ATT-TEC tuning company and fitted it with the Super Light ADV05 MV.2 wheels, which look absolutely gorgeous, especially due to the car`s monoblock front face design. As the name name suggests, this is a build inspired by the Star Wars franchise, and while tributes to the movie are found in a lot of cars, this one is special.

I call it special for a couple of reasons: first off, Vilner doesn’t really do body modifications, as they are mostly know for interior design. Secondly, few other tribute cars manage to look as good as the Stormtrooper BMW. So what exactly did Vilner do to the car?

From the front, the car looks completely different, with a lot of styling borrowed from one of Vilner’s previous project, the Bullshark. These alteration include restyled kidney grilles and bumper, along with new headlights and hood. The interior didn’t escape alteration either, with Vilner fitting Nappa leather and alcantara all over.

While now producing an amazing 740 Hp, this build is a bit different from what G-Power usually does.

The difference comes from how the extra power is produced. Typically, extra power is produced by adding a big turbo, along with the necessary modifications. Yet with this BMW M6, G-Power decided to go another way. They simply made the engine work better by remapping the ECU.

They also had to improve air flow for which they installed their very own titanium exhaust system that removes the catalyst while also adds new resonators for improved sound. The power output after all of this is 740 Hp and 975 Nm of torque, which means an 180 Hp and 295 Nm increase. To complete the tune, new suspension and brakes were put in place, while G-Power eheels were also installed.

I would say this is a normal progression considering the diminishing resources and the overall eco movement.

As far as performance is concerned, the result after downsizing is usually quite good, in most cases managing to get more power from the newer engines or at the very least match the level of the outgoing engines. But if there is one thing that is definitely lost, is the feel of the engine and the sound it produces.

This has already caused quite the stir among the more fanatic fans of BMW, albeit not quite a fierce one as the front-wheeled Bimmer, but still, there are those that feel the car maker has done wrong by the community. After all, the sound of the naturally aspired 5.0 liter V10 is quite unmistakable.

What these infuriated fans seem to forget is that the sound can be easily fixed with a nice application of a new exhaust system. For this job, there are plenty of aftermarket specialist happy to oblige, just like the next F13 BMW M6, which got a nice Castro GT race exhaust. Enjoy the sound.
