<p>As far as our memory serves us, the E71 BMW X6 hasn&#8217;t been their favorite toy to play around with. In preparation for the Essen Motor Show they worked over the unusual X6.</p>

<p>Since the show&#8217;s popularity has wildly expanded over the recent years, this may not be a good way round to go and unveil your tweak on the SAC.<br />
<span id="more-1869"></span><br />
After all, it&#8217;s the place where other tuning companies from Germany or the world all over will showcase some incredibly high performing versions of the M powered X6.</p>
<p>You wouldn&#8217;t want to compete against that. To some degree, Manhart Racing are on the same page with that decision. They didn&#8217;t go alongside predictable lines.</p>
<figure id="attachment_1872" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-1872" style="width: 520px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="http://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/E71-BMW-X6M-Dirt-Edition-by-Manhart-2.jpg" rel="lightbox-1"><img decoding="async" src="http://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/E71-BMW-X6M-Dirt-Edition-by-Manhart-2.jpg" alt="E71 BMW X6M Dirt Edition by Manhart" width="520" height="345" class="size-full wp-image-1872" srcset="https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/E71-BMW-X6M-Dirt-Edition-by-Manhart-2.jpg 1600w, https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/E71-BMW-X6M-Dirt-Edition-by-Manhart-2-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/E71-BMW-X6M-Dirt-Edition-by-Manhart-2-768x509.jpg 768w, https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/E71-BMW-X6M-Dirt-Edition-by-Manhart-2-1024x678.jpg 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 520px) 100vw, 520px" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-1872" class="wp-caption-text">E71 BMW X6M Dirt Edition by Manhart</figcaption></figure>
<p>They did not opt for a higher powered X6M. They did not fit sports suspension that&#8217;s basically rock solid and nor did they fit a bulging body kit.</p>
<p>Instead, they completely trolled those expecting a million horsepower X6M as they allied with the Germans from Wuppertal to creat the Dirt Edition.</p>
<p>Once you hear the name the appearance becomes less surprising. The car itself, the E71 X6 M remains standard, apart from the wheel setup.</p>
<figure id="attachment_1873" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-1873" style="width: 520px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="http://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/E71-BMW-X6M-Dirt-Edition-by-Manhart-3.jpg" rel="lightbox-2"><img decoding="async" src="http://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/E71-BMW-X6M-Dirt-Edition-by-Manhart-3.jpg" alt="E71 BMW X6M Dirt Edition by Manhart" width="520" height="345" class="size-full wp-image-1873" srcset="https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/E71-BMW-X6M-Dirt-Edition-by-Manhart-3.jpg 1600w, https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/E71-BMW-X6M-Dirt-Edition-by-Manhart-3-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/E71-BMW-X6M-Dirt-Edition-by-Manhart-3-768x509.jpg 768w, https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/E71-BMW-X6M-Dirt-Edition-by-Manhart-3-1024x678.jpg 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 520px) 100vw, 520px" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-1873" class="wp-caption-text">E71 BMW X6M Dirt Edition by Manhart</figcaption></figure>
<p>Off-road tires and wheels go on, as do some extended mud guards. Just to keep the trolling effect going, a new vinyl wrap goes on.</p>
<p>It now genuinely looks like some of the toys I had as a kid since it has the US Army symbol on it.</p>
