<p>There&#8217;s no disappointment in supporting them as they constantly come up with great stuff, particularly the extreme tune-ups of their Hurricane lineup.</p>

<p>That lineup was just expanded to include the wonderful 1 Series M Coupe. The standard car is great and so is this, despite being far from it.<br />
<span id="more-1473"></span><br />
The exterior is pretty much left unchanged and if it weren&#8217;t for a new set of alloy wheels, it would be relatively easy to mistake the two cars.</p>
<p>Getting inside either of these models will not feel strange either. The interior of the G-Power one gets a bit of an advantage thanks to Alcantara, a different steering wheel and new seats.</p>
<figure id="attachment_1476" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-1476" style="width: 520px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="http://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/G-Power-G1-V8-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-1.jpg" rel="lightbox-1"><img decoding="async" src="http://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/G-Power-G1-V8-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-1.jpg" alt="G-Power G1 V8 BMW 1 Series M Coupe" width="520" height="347" class="size-full wp-image-1476" srcset="https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/G-Power-G1-V8-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-1.jpg 1600w, https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/G-Power-G1-V8-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/G-Power-G1-V8-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/G-Power-G1-V8-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-1-1024x683.jpg 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 520px) 100vw, 520px" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-1476" class="wp-caption-text">G-Power G1 V8 BMW 1 Series M Coupe</figcaption></figure>
<p>Once you start the engine, things change up. It&#8217;s no longer a 1 Series M Coupe that happens to have some bits of the M3.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s actually all M3 underneath, everything from engine to rear wheels, SMG transmission included. Great news but it wasn&#8217;t enough.</p>
<p>The 4.0 liter naturally aspirated V8 from the E92 also gets a supercharger kit. A few extra mods are needed, among which we count a new airbox but the effort is more than worth it.</p>
<figure id="attachment_1477" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-1477" style="width: 520px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="http://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/G-Power-G1-V8-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-3.jpg" rel="lightbox-2"><img decoding="async" src="http://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/G-Power-G1-V8-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-3.jpg" alt="G-Power G1 V8 BMW 1 Series M Coupe" width="520" height="347" class="size-full wp-image-1477" srcset="https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/G-Power-G1-V8-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-3.jpg 1600w, https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/G-Power-G1-V8-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-3-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/G-Power-G1-V8-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-3-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/G-Power-G1-V8-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-3-1024x683.jpg 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 520px) 100vw, 520px" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-1477" class="wp-caption-text">G-Power G1 V8 BMW 1 Series M Coupe</figcaption></figure>
<p>That&#8217;s because the G-Power G1 V8 1 Series M Coupe develops 600 horsepower and 428 lb-ft of torque. That power would make an M3 seriously quick, so you can imagine what it does to a 1M.</p>
<p>Performance figures call for a 4.4 second 0 to 62 time (mostly because of a tricky launch) and a top speed of 205 mph.</p>
<p>Enough said.</p>
