I don’t say that the BMW i8 is a ridiculous model, but with the new styling cues from the German Special Customs, I have to admit that the plug-in hybrid does look a little bit different, and quite appealing I might add.

The tuner first started working on the car`s interior last year and now it has made its approached on the exterior, fitting it with some nice bits. And we have reasons to believe that the work is not done yet.

One could depict the missing of the blue accents as well as the adding of the new bumpers with new intakes, wide lip front, updated side skirts and rear apron. The entire body kit is made from carbon fiber, making the model much lighter. For instance, the front bumper alone sheds 3 kilograms off.

Inside, the model has received the blue Alcantara and carbon fiber, which perfectly complements the car`s exterior and candy blue alloy wheels.

Under the hood, this German Special Customs BMW i8 still uses the stock 1.5-liter TwinPower Turbo three-cylinder engine, hooked to an electric motor via a lithium-ion battery pack. The overall power stands at 357 horsepower, enough to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds.
