In the engine department, the 2016 BMW M2 Coupe comes with a 3.0-liter M TwinPower Turbo inline flat-six engine, churning out 370 horsepower and 465 Nm of torque. This is enough to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds with a DCT and 4.5 seconds with the manual.

It was raised as a pure breed, packing an ugraded S63TU 4.4-liter biturbo V8 engine, with 600 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque, hooked to an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission. Thus, the model sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, at a top speed electronically limited at 250 km/h.

But this doesn’t seem to meet the high demands of different tuning companies that want to get the best of it. It is also the case of German based tuner Hamann, which has played a little bit with the X6 M SUV.

Perhaps the first thing that crossed your mind was an additional power boost, but the tuner has broken its strict rules and has added only a custom exhaust system with all the ingredients, like cats, rear mufflers or downpipes.

The purpose was pretty obvious: a wilder and more impressive engine roar, which would make it extremely aggressive.
