We have seen lots of BMW models, such as the X5 M or X6 M, along with the M2 Coupe or M3/M4, receiving impressive power kits. The tuner`s latest project involves the above BMW M550d in its former generation, this one also getting its fare share of power under the hood.

In the visual department, the mods aren`t that many, the top of the line version from the 5-Series receiving some slight updates at the front and rear bumpers, along with the new 20- and 21-inch front and rear HURRICANE RR alloy wheels, available in three colours, ”Jet Black”, ”Gun Metal Grey” and ”Stardust Silver”.

As for the upgrades under the hood, the BMW M550d got the tuner`s D-Tronik 5 V1 power module, meaning modified turbochargers and ECU remapping, all significantly raising the car`s stock power.

As the tuner says, the power module is not always active, and that to protect the engine. The ECU remapping activates the car`s new throttle using a special program that the driver activates only in certain situations.

The stock model comes with a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine with a good 381 horsepower and 740 Nm of torque, but with the new power module, the M550d is now capable of delivering 435 horsepower and impressive 850 Nm of torque. The sprint figure is not given at the moment, but we should expect fresh details in the upcoming period.

A cheap alternative that can make your 2016 BMW M2 Coupe much faster and more powerful than the BMW M3 or M4 would be the Speed-Busters` choice, which comes handy with just 799 euro, for a fine power kit for your M2 Coupe.

Today, BMW M2 Coupe is regarded as the cheaper alternative of the M3 or M4, but even so, this exquisite car is capable of impressive performance.

The car packs an S55 3.0-liter M TwinPower Turbo inline straight-six, which is not the same found on the M3/M4, capable of delivering a good 370 horsepower and 465 Nm of torque, and able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds when hooked to a DCT, so the figures are almost as much impressive as an M3.

But in case you want more juice out of the box, then you should head straight to the tuner`s shop for some extra horses. Their special power kit can raise the car`s power up to an impressive 426 horsepower and 620 Nm of torque, way much than the M3 / M4.

Even if it still comes with less power but with more torque, this lad here should be way faster than the big brothers when sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h. Unfortunately, for the moment, there are no official news regarding the sprint. Stay tuned for more details in the near future!
