Alpina has accommodated a second turbo on the BMW 435i’s N55 engine, simultaneously adding a bunch of other upgrades. This raises the performance of the engine from 300hp to an unimaginable 434hp. At the 2017 Geneva Motor Show we have had the chance of seeing the BMW i8 CrossFade shining at the stand with an exquisite design which focus on a “specific colour design, developed from a common painting genre during the 18th and early 20th century, which gives an expressive appearance.”

The BMW i8 CrossFade`s design was also highly spoken by Adrian von Hooydonk, Senior Vice President of BMW Group Design, also stating that:

“Lapo Elkann is a pioneer in linking the disciplines of fashion, automobile and design. As a designer, I find this comprehensive approach particularly exciting. With BMW i, we have been successful in overcoming previous restrictions in automotive design through the use of entirely new materials. So the progressive expressiveness of the Garage Italia CrossFade Edition is perfectly in keeping with the BMW i3 and the BMW i8.”

At the exterior, the BMW i8 comes with a mixture between the Protonic Blue and Protonic Dark Silver, adding as well high-end features inside the cabin, like Alcantara fabrics covering the central tunnel, headliner, and side panels. We are also dealing here with Foglizzo leather seats, Protonic Blue and perforated Alcantara with contrast stitching.

The tuner`s new aero kit is absolutely mind-blowing, being created from a plethora of carbon fiber composites and providing the model with an exceptional look and aggressive attitude.

We are looking here at the ACL2S carbon fiber package, which comes with ten-piece carbon fiber components – carbon fiber front spoiler and side mirrors, front splitter, bespoke side skirts, rear roof spoiler, carbon fiber rear diffuser and fiber wing. The entire kit is complemented with the new AC Schnitzer AC1 alloy wheels available in black or silver.

Inside, the cabin has also received special features like aluminum pedals set, “One of Thrity” badging, three-spoke leather steering wheel with color-matched stitching and so on.

As for the car`s engine under the hood, the BMW M240i ACL2S by AC Schnitzer also comes with new power and torque. The 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine is now churning out 440 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque, which is quite impressive from the stock 340 horsepower.

The power kit includes an ECU remapping, new downpipe, custom air intake and new exhaust system. The tuner have also added their famous fully-adjustable RS suspension kit, which lowers the car`s ride height for increased stance.
