The company replaced the standard engine with a more powerful 3.0-liter tri-turbo unit, the same one you found on the M550d or X6 M50d. They went even further by making optimisations to the engine so it delivers now 440 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque.

That’s an important upgrade over the stock 381 hp and 740 Nm, extra power that promises a 0-100 km/h sprint in 4,9 seconds and a top speed of 296 km/h.

At the exterior you will notice new yellow brake calipers behind 19-inch alloy wheels with Michelin Pilot tires. The new brakes are from StopTech while a custom exhaust system with active sound is also available in the back. The blue body wrap with black accents on the side mirrors and front grille also add to the look.

Interior improvements include a BMW Performance steering wheel with Alcantara inserts, new speedometer and Recaro sports seats. This particular model is a BMW 335i Sedan with a nice Alpine White exterior finish. It is shod in 19-inch VMR 810 alloy wheels that received a Hyper Silver finish.

As we’ve seen with the previous VMR Wheels package, it brings nothing more but the new set of wheels. There are no other modifications in terms of appearance nor performance. Aesthetic wise, Hamann went with a nice aero kit, comprised of a front spoiler and a rear diffuser. TC-Concept decided to see about modifying the BMW 3 Series, and the result is better than you might expect.

Their wide body kit is the one to have, for now at least, if you want an M3 kind of look on your standard BMW 3 Series. And if you already have installed either the M Sport package or M Performance parts, don’t fret, for TC-Concept’s kit is built to work nicely with them.

The whole kit has 8 pieces, which include new a new trunk lid, reworked diffuser or some flared wheel arches. While they do not present anything really new and exciting to the tuning scene, the kit from TC-Concept for the new BMW 3 Series is like the bread and butter of body tuning.

From the looks of it, this isn’t just a very clean exterior mod, but also a more powerful car altogether.

The base model for this pickup Bimmer was the E30 BMW 3 Series convertible. This is the soft top version, and after removing said soft top, the owner converted the rear end of the vehicle into a flat bed. He did it quite seamlessly, and this wasn’t all he did.

After the flatbed was complete, he then went and added a lot of M3 parts, including front and rear bumpers and fenders. Next step was replacing the engine with something more powerful. While most would have opted for S14 engine found in the E30 BMW M3, the owner got himself a 4.0 liter V8 from the E34 BMW 540i which is good for about 286 Hp.

With a valvetronic exhaust system, you get the mad sound of racer at the push of a button, but you can still enjoy a smoother sound if you feel like kicking back.

And the product Armytrix provided is quite good at what it does. Although, in all honesty, most enthusiasts are now waiting for some aftermarket pieces for the new F80 BMW M3 or the F82 BMW M4, which could seriously use an upgrade when it comes to exhaust sound.

The F30 3 Series is not what you would call tame or bland in its stock form, but most reviews today say it is far superior, at least sound-wise, compared the the last generation. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for that little extra.

Still, with 17 BMW art cars currently in the manufacturer’s garage, spanning several decades, we think a lot of people might be wrong.

Among the first art cars, Roy Lichtenstein’s 320i Turbo will be presented in Hong Kong. I am no art critic, but I do like Lichtenstein’s design, while I wouldn’t know the significance behind it. In his own words, the “painted lines symbolize the road the car has to follow and the artwork also portrays the surroundings through which the car is being driven”.

One of many more Bimmers presented in Hong Kong, the art car is sure to attract a lot of attention, with chances to actually be the center piece of the manufacturer’s display. The event will take place between the 15th and 18th of May, with over 245 galleries from 39 countries taking part.

This E30 BMW 3 Series sure managed to pull that look, and I am not exactly sure what it is supposed to be, but it looks like it was taken out of a Tom & Jerry cartoon.

The owner named the build Gatsby BMW Cabriolet Custom, a name that pretty much says it all. It is a stretch convertible that wants to bring the 50s back. Most body panels were provided by Gatsby Coachworks, after being pilfered from an MG. The craftsmanship is not that bad, either.

In fact, if we disregard the ludicrous design, this is quite a high quality build, with only one thing dragging it down. While the whole of the body has seen heavy modifications, the rear end is still pretty basic, giving away the E30 underneath. Oh, and it’s on the market for anyone with $30.000 and bad eyes.
