Another jewel for the track bears the BMW emblem. The project of a certain user named manofire, this BMW E92 M3 is set to take on the racing tracks this year.

The 2008 BMW M3 was bought brand new and was immediately introduced to the HPDE and AutoX events.

So what has manofire done to his car? The engine was tuned by Epic Motorsports while the 3 inch stainless steel exhaust was made by Off Camber Motorsports. RDS provided the front and back sway bars and the driver will be protected by a 6 point + 2 rollcage supplied by EconoMotorsports & Weaver’s Race Cars.

For suspension, manofire went with Ground Control and their double adjustable coilovers. The choice of wheels was VMR V701 and the seats are from the aces at Sparco with the Pro ADV for the driver and Recaro Profi for passenger. At the back a 67 inch wide carbon fiber wing was installed, the APR GTC300.

These are just some highlights, but the list just goes on. With so much work put into this E92 M3, I can only hope it will impress any track it will race on.

Most of the guys and girls that love tuning their BMW, usually like getting their own hands dirty. If you don’t trust your mechanics skills, you might be better off paying some professionals to do it for your.

But not the guy owning this E92 BMW M3.

Going by the user name boostedM, he decided his Active Stage 2 kit was outdated. And he’s not afraid of getting his hands dirty. Watching his thread and pictures, it is clear he is passionate about his car.

With more than 140.000 km on them, he decided to get rid of the OEM rod bearings, replacing them with brand new VAC coated bearing. And after this is done, he will safely be able to install his Rotrex supercharger and intercooler.

And since he is already poking inside the bowels of the beast, why not slap on another clutch? His extra oomph will be managed by a Spec Twin Disc clutch.

Mode Carbon and Auto Couture E92 M3

BMW found one of its E92 M3 progeny on the hands of the guys from Mode Carbon tuning company. Together with Auto Couture, they came out with a limited edition called Lime Rock.

So why is this the BMW M3 for you? Well, I think it’s just stunning. The overall style just screams “floor it”. Or it might just be me.

Anyway, the most obvious modification is the paint, a Fire Orange that just stands out in a crowd. They also fitted the BMW E92 M3 with 18 inch Volk TE-37SL wheels that sport a bit of orange, too. The interior displays new Recaro Pole Positions seats, alcantara steering wheel and even a roll cage.

As for the performance the Lime Rock BMW M3 was outfitted with the ESS Tuning VT2-650 Supercharger that will give you more horses to enjoy. Auto Couture also installed Test Pipes, an Active Autowerke exhaust and KW Sleeves for the suspensions.

So there you have it: the Lime Rock BMW E92 M3 that just needs to be taken to the track.
