The gathering was carried out to celebrate the tuner`s 40 years of existence on the market, an occasion to showcase exclusive models wearing the tuner`s exclusive 540 three-piece forged alloy wheels and not only.

The wheels involved used to be the hottest back in the 90`s and were seen on rides like the E46 BMW M3, Porsche 996 Turbo or C5 Corvette. Now, in the 2018 iteration, the wheels are set to commemorate 40 years of the tuner`s successful existence on the market.

Following the launch of the Sunburst Gold Metallic F80 BMW M3 which wore the same hot wheels, the tuner has also had the chance to present the iconic BMW M4 wearing the gorgeous Mineral Gray body colour and wrapped in the same HRE 540 wheels.

Just like the F80 BMW M3 related in a previous post, this Mineral Gray BMW M4 is also coming with the hot wheels, measuring the same 20 x 8.5 and 20 x 10.5 front and rear, respectively, and finished in the mind-blowing Polished Dark Clear, which perfectly complements the car`s exterior paintjob.

Powering the Mineral Gray BMW M4 is the famous 3.0-liter M TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder engine with 431 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, enough to deliver a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, when hooked to a six-speed manual transmission. However, equipped with a seven-speed MDC-T, the same sprint is done in just 4.1 seconds.

And one of their favorite carmakers is no one than the German based carmaker BMW, with lots of products to receive the tuner`s special signature. One of their frequently customized models is the BMW M3.

The model seen below is wearing the Grigio Telesto Pearl, a very special body wrap which is mostly associated with Lamborghini models, and which highlights the car`s every single design line. Besides the exotic colour, the model also comes with slight upgrades at the body and a set of new wheels.

As for the engine department, the tuner has left it intact, meaning that the stock 3.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder engine, delivers the same 431 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, enough to allow an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, when hooked to a six-speed manual transmission.

However, with the seven-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission), the sedan reaches the same sprint in just 4.1 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited at 250 km/h. Why not chiptuning first? Mainly, because though it adds extra performance, it doesn’t show it to anyone. It’s true, the software modification is cheap, but only few owners are willing to adopt it before replacing the original set of wheels.

The aftermarket wheels don’t add only a sporty or elegant stance, depending on the case. They bring extra stability, by widening the track and enhancing the grip. More, in most of the cases, they are more rigid and lighter than the original ones, and that makes the car feel better in the fast corners.

It’s this F80 BMW M3’s owner’s case, which started with an impressive set of HRE Performance Wheels, with thin spokes. In front he fitted a 20 x 855 inches pair of wheels, while the rear wheels measure 20 x 10.5 inch. The design is perfectly matched with the high tech aspect of the body, while their graphite color is in par with the body’s beautiful Atlantis Blue paint.

There’s also an quite large amount of carbon fibre, including the carbon front splitter, the side skirts and the rear diffuser. The cake is completed with a touch of M Performance rear spoiler, kidney and mirror caps. However, there’s nothing mentioned about the engine upgrade. From what we can see, there’s a new suspension fitted, which make the car looking sportier. From we can see, it has what it takes to be a perfect ride!

This F82 BMW M4 stands out from the crowd with the HRE P101 wheels, all finished in matte black, which add up a more aggressive look to the new body style.

Apart the new wheels, the BMW has also received a carbon fiber body kit, with new components, like the carbon fiber splitter, air curtain inserts, new rear spoiler, rear diffuser, side skirts and a few more.

Inside, the cabin has also received some sports goodies, like the red seat belts, black leather and so on. No upgrades were announced under the hood.

Thus, the BMW M4 still packs the same 3.0-liter BMW TwinPower engine, with 430 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. This is enough to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds. With an M DCT, the Bavarian carmaker claims 3.9 seconds for the same straight line. The topping stands at an electronically limited of 250 km/h.

The F80 BMW M3 by HRE Performance Wheels tuning division has fitted a set of new mnoblock HRE P101 wheels, which are extremely lightweight and provide the model with a greater stance and improved driving capability and handling.

The HRE P101 wheels are finished in grey, which perfectly complement the car`s exquisite Moonstone Metallic exterior paint. Add up some other fine-looking aero parts, like the new front splitter or rear spoiler and you have the perfect M3 you have ever dreamt of.

No power upgrades were announced under the hood, the F80 BMW M3 still packing the same 3.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo, found on its M4 sibling, which produces 425 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. This is just enough to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, at a topping of 250 km/h. But with the M`s Driver Package, BMW reports 3.9 seconds for the same straight line.

The BMW i8 seen here in a splendid photo session has received the HRE RS103 wheels, which provide the model with a unique stance, improved dynamics and stronger personality, especially since they come with the black spokes which perfectly balance the wheels` silver finish.

Under the hood, this BMW i8 has not received any upgrades, the plug-in hybrid still packing the range extender 1.5-liter I3 turbo, with 228 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. The engine is also backed by an electric motor, which provides an additional 131 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque.

The overall output of 357 horsepower and 570 Nm of torque is enough to make it sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds, at a topping of 260 km/h. The car`s range mile is set to 35 km.
