In the stock form, the 2016 BMW M2 Coupe comes with a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged engine, with a good 370 horsepower and 465 Nm of torque. However, with the tuner`s Bi-Tronik 2 V1 ECU power module, available at 2,100 euros, the car` power has been raised to a good 410 horsepower and 570 Nm of torque. This allows a quarter mile sprint in 14.5 seconds.

However, should you decide to go for more than 410 horsepower, then the aftermarket specialists are also offering their second power module, available at 2,822 euros – this is the Bi-Tronik 5 power module.

The tuner is also offering some new wheels, the high-performance 20-inch G-Power Hurricane RR forged wheels, available at 6,271 euros, while adding as well the 245/30ZR20 tires.

On the other hand, the engineers can also equip their custom-built titanium exhaust with 90 mm four end pipes, for another 4,995 euros. You could also through in an additional 1,888 for the G-Power G2M-RS coiler set, meaning that the car`s ride height will be dropped with around 45 mm up front and 50 mm at the rear. The dampers also come with nine-way adjustable positions for rebound control.

Even if we have seen tens and tens of M2 Coupes being customized beyond recognition, there are some of them which can`t go unnoticed. And one of those special is no other than the Vorsteiner`s new project, first unveiled in some teasers a couple of days ago.

Now, the technicians from Vorsteiner are back into the spotlights with their almost finished BMW M2 Coupe, the model popping up in new teasers showcasing its rear end. Since we are looking at a new batch of photos, that indicates that the work is still in progress, the tuner presuming fine-tuning the car`s performance.

Vorsteiner is well-known for creating nice and clean aero kit for BMW products, without affecting their personality and original looks, and the mods added on their bodies shape their lines to perfection.

Besides the new front with the freshly added spoiler lip, side skirts, the rear end also comes with new styling elements, like bespoke diffuser and a new rear wing, in this case, is displayed just one of the many options.

The teaser images also let us suggest that there will also be a nice tail spoiler mounted at the rear, or perhaps a massive racing wing which could depict a power boost, as well or the presence of an upcoming vented bonnet. With Vorsteiner, we have learned that the possibilities are unlimited. We should also expect fresh wheels followed by some new interior tweaks.

I personally haven’t gotten bored with all the plethora of styling and power kits fitting the BMW M2 Coupe, as each particular program is unique and shapes the car`s personality and look.

I also got excited while carefully taking a look at this BMW M2 Coupe, with all its new power kit provided by Mcchip-DKR tuning company. And since we are dealing with an important project, there was no room for errors.

And indeed, the engineers provided as promised. The power boost is part of the tuner`s Stage 3 kit, now available for just 8,090 euros and coming with some fine tunings, like engine software upgrade, new turbos and some extra mechanical bits.

The technicians have also installed a downpipe with 200 cells cat, ECU remapping, adding 75 horsepower and 135 Nm of torque, for a total of 445 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque, all squeezed from the same 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo flat-six engine.

But that`s not all folks. In case you are not satisfy with the new power kit, for extra bucks which involves the fitting of the LightweightPerformance intercooler developed by the same DKR, you can add a total of 450 horsepower and 690 Nm of torque.

Even if you think that this isn’t enough, at this kind of power level, all it matters is the torque, rather than the power itself. Just take a closer look at the new M2 Coupe and decide if the Mcchip`s Stage 3 kit is worth the money!

Now, the same Hamann and white BMW M2 Coupe are popping-up in or news again, with what seems to be the tuner`s similar porject. Unfortunately, Hamann have not revealed the car`s rear muffler (part of their Hamann exhaust system) end so we cannot fully decide if this is the same tuning project.

Even so, this M2 Coupe looks exquisite and quite a head-turner, all adorned with the Hamann aero bits.

The 2-Series` topper is indeed standing out from the crowd with the new and massive front spoiler lip on top of the factory front bumper, along with the new side skirts, rear diffuser and rear boot spoiler.

On top of all these body bits, the Hamann specialists are still undecided on the kind of wheels they should put on the M2 Coupe. Seen here half-way in the pictures, this lad is wearing the black Evo wheels, which make a pretty good impressions. It remains to see the final result. Maybe we will have a big surprise of seeing the complete rear end with the new exhaust system! That would be a real surprise indeed!

Recently, famous AC Schnitzer German tuner has celebrated 30 years of existence on the market, the perfect opportunity to release a special M2 Coupe, all adorned with a lot of aftermarket goodies. That makes it even more standout from the crowd.

As you probably know, the tuner`s main ingredient is the special power kit, used as well on other high-end BMW models. This lad here is also fully benefiting the shop`s outrageous power output.

After hours of hard work in the shop, the M2`s 3.0-liter turbo six engine is now capable of developing a whopping 630 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque, thanks to the new bespoke intercooler and new turbochargers.

You can also imagine the performance figures, the M2 now being capable to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3.9 seconds. Unfortunately, this is our own assumption, as the tuner has not yet released any official figures.

Besides the sheer performance, the technicians from AC Schnitzer tuner have also added some fine styling mods, like stainless steel sports rear silencer, HJS 300 cell Downpipe, as well as the high-performance Manhart Concave ONE alloy wheels, all wrapped in the Michelin Cup 2 rubbers. Add the new KW coil-over suspension or the carbon strut bar and you have an extremely aggressive looking M2.

The interior has also received some fine adjustments, meaning Recaro Sportster CS Sport seats, Alcantara with gold contrast stitching wrapping the cabin, as well as the Alcantara steering wheel, for a much cozier and sportier feel.

The latest 2016 BMW M2 Coupe to receive a special attention is this one seen below, recently kitted by the folks from German-based tuning Alpha-N Performance.

The car`s main highlight is the power boost, otherwise known as the tuner`s Stage 1 to 3 EVOX program. In case you are not too fancy about it and want a “mere” 400 horsepower and 580 Nm of torque, from the stock 370 horsepower and 465 Nm of torque, then you should choose Stage1.

Stage 2 makes it even faster, with 415 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque, while the EVOX 3 delivers an impressive 430 horsepower and 620 Nm of torque. This particular one is special as it involves the removal of the speed limited and the adding of a race-grade downpipe without the catalytic converter.

As for the visuals, Alpha N-Performance offer you a wide choice of body bits, including three rear spoilers, carbon fiber rear wing, custom front splitter, optional M4 GTS-like spoilers courtesy to Edison Composites, as well as the M235i Motorsport wing.

The overall aero kit also comes with a new set of high-performance 19-inch OZ Racing Ultraleggera HLT alloy wheels, along with other mechanical bits like adjustable road and track coilover suspension by Ohlins or adjustable camber plate.

Shiftech tuner is rather new on the market, with few active projects, but wants to impress everybody with their recent tuning project carried out on this magnificent M2.

It involves an ECU remapping as well as some improvements on the car`s exhaust system which makes it wilder than before.

The 2016 BMW M2 Coupe comes with an N55 3.0-liter straight-six cylinder engine, which provides a good 370 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, and that in the stock version.

With the ECU remapping, the technicians from Shiftech raised the power to an impressive 401 horsepower and 615 Nm of torque, all thanks to a seven-speed DCT transmission. This is just enough to be faster with at least 0.2 seconds. So far, we haven’t been able to get our hands on the official figures.

Besides the ECU remapping, the guys have also installed an M Performance exhaust system, with their secret ingredient called “Pop&Bang”. That makes it even more aggressive than in the stock version.

Now, the technicians from well-known Alpha-N Performance tuning have carried out a different type of project. It involves the fitting of an impressive power kit, which significantly raises the car`s performance.

We are dealing here with the EVOX power kit added to the car`s stock 3.0-liter six-straight turbo engine, which raises the performance from 370 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, to 395 horsepower and 610 Nm of torque. This would be Stage One of Alpha-N Performance upgrade.

The aftermarket engineers can also opt for Stage Two, which means 410 horsepower and 630 Nm of torque. Finally, Stage 3 raises the M2`s power to an impressive 480 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque.

You should remain excited about the EVOX power kits, as they come with the right prices. For instance, if you opt for the first power kit, you will have to pay just 799 Euros.

There are perhaps the most affordable power kits that can be found on the market today, so in case you own a BMW M2 Coupe and want some proper throttle coming down the pipes, then you should head to Alpha-N Performance for some fine-tuning.

The german team started from a stock M2 and added some style elements, performance parts and aero components.

For the beginning, let’s remember the stock model’s numbers. It boasts 370 hp @ 6500 rpm and a maximum 465 Nm of torque (500 with overboost). It shares the same 3 liter, 6 cylinder engine with its cheaper brother, M 235i, but adds extra 44 hp.

Using the M DCT gearbox and with the Launch Control function activated, the M2 accelerates to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, and reaches 250 km/h, or even 270 km/h, when equipped with M Driver pack.

The german tuner near Munchen added extra 50 hp, thanks to the modified software and the all-new exhaust system. It may not look much, but the engine was already doped up with its 123 hp/liter. The maximum torque reaches 580Nm, which shows a more impressive raise than the power.

There are no official numbers about the acceleration and the top speed and, if you think that the performance improvement is rather symbolic, the germans announce that this is only the beginning. In the future, it will probably available a Stage 2 tuning, replacing the downpipes and, why not, a Stage 3, with a turbo upgrade.

The M2’s looks is either sensational or horrible. It depends on each one’s taste. I mean…the front lip is HUGE! And the rear wing is anything but a good match with the body style. However, on the track, the two elements are a good help for the driver. But on the road, they look exaggerated.

On the other hand, the rims integrate absolutely perfect in the car’s line. And the KW Clubsport coilovers should be a real improvement in the car’s stability. In front, there are black grilles, while the 2002 turbo stripes are an homage to the historical model. Do they look ok? It’s, again, your choice.

The new model was recently released, so these are preliminary details and photos for the final package. The exterior will stand out thanks to the new 19-inch OZ Superforgiata wheels fitted with 245/35R19 (front) and 265/35R19 (rear) tires, new carbon fiber roof and a big rear wing.

You will also notice the lowered stance due to the adjustable coilover suspension as well as the tweaked bumpers and side skirts.

Under the hood of Alpha-N Performance’s BMW M2 Coupe sits a tuned 3.0-liter turbo engine offering 480 horsespower which should improve the 0-100 km/h sprint time of 4,5 seconds. We don’t know the exact figures for now but we are sure that they will see an improvement thanks to the extra power.

It is still too early to talk about any pricing details as this is just a preview at the upcoming kit for the BMW M2 Coupe. Keep an eye on our blog for more information as the company will reveal them.
