Especially the tuned ones, since 2 tones accelerating to 100 km/h in under 5 seconds can be quite a show. It’s the case here. BMW X5 M V8 it’s a terrifying, fast SUV, no doubt about it! It sprints to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, and it reaches 250 km/h. That’s not a novelty for us, but it’s always good to remember.

The german tuner Manhart didn’t agree that those numbers are terrifying, so it made some changes, managing to squeeze 125 more horses and 150 Nm more. Now, the 700 hp and 900 Nm X5 can do things of which only real sports cars were capable of. But we already wrote about them here.

Of course, there is always room for more. Manhart can give you the supreme SUV, in form of an 800 hp and 1000 Nm of torque beast. Yes, you read well, but you’ll have to pull out of your wallet 15.111 € to have these values under the pedal.

So, what’s new with the monster? The news is that a video with Manhart MHX5 700 just emerged in the web. It shows the beast from all its angles, in a professional manner. However, it’s not on my taste. I would rather prefer more action and a little engine noise. Sorry, lots of engine noise. The new BMW X5 M has already made a sensation sitting side-by-side with the X6 M and right now, we have to give it what it really deserves: the HRE S104 wheels, sized 22×10 and 22×12.5 front and rear, wrapped in the Copper Lip matte finish. The HRE wheels are also fitted with the Pirelly P Zero Scorpion tires.

Overall, the look of this 2015 BMW X5 M is absolutely astonishing, the famous SUV now looking more aggressive. But the real beast lies under the hood, where the SUV is still coming with the same power as in the stock form. We are dealing here about the 4.4-liter V8 M turbocharged unit, which is outputting 567 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque.

In terms of power, the standard 4.4-liter V8 engine delivers now 750 horses and 1,000 Nm of torque. The standard BMW X5 M needs only 4,2 seconds to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h before hitting the top speed of 250 km/h.

However, the extra power in Manhart’s model will improve these figures, even though they haven’t released new numbers yet.

At the exterior, buyers will get 23-inch forged alloy wheels, revised bumpers, a black front grille, carbon fiber mirror caps, a sports exhaust and a vented hood.

Last but not least, these two photos show us some interior improvements, namely we see the new sports seats. However, we still have to wait until we get full details from Manhart Racing.
