It all seems a little too well planned however we’re almost sure that under the skin, this was a project that saw many sleepless nights under the pressure of a deadline.

Come the premiere however, I’m sure they had themselves a good drink since they deserved it. It’s all been worth it and everybody who’ll buy one of these will enjoy it every day.

The body kit is developed in collaboration with 3D Design and Challenge Engineering. It not only looks great, it manages to refine the aerodynamics of the M5 and is lighter than the standard setup.

The carbon fiber used in the roof alone saves 50 lbs whereas the new trunk cover sheds another 22 pounds. Extra weight is lost inside by replacing the normal chairs with some Recaro buckets.

The roll cage probably adds back in though. Keeping with the handling focus, the suspension gets KW ClubSport coilovers and the brakes are now coming from CarboTech.

Really, even without talking about the very light alloy wheels or the Falken high-performance tires, the IND F10 BMW M5 sounds like a wonderful car to drive.

Given what it started out in life, and in factoring a new exhaust system from Eisenmann for the S63Tu engine, it’s pretty much impossible to fault this car.

Despite this, IND are telling us they’re about to make a Stage two performance package which will bring out more grunt from the 4.4 liter twin-turbo V8.

It’s a brand new suspension kit. That sounds pretty remarkable and though the suspension kit is developed for the BMW 1 Series, it’ isn’t really fitted to one.

The model that actually gets the tweaked suspension is the BMW Active E all-electric version. This changes a few things.

Apart from making it impossible to fit a sports exhaust system, the suspension should really make for best use of its power delivery.

Who says that a short blast around the suburbs can’t be more enjoyed by a suspension so stiff it can shake your kidneys off their mountings.

I suppose the 18 inch wheels with stickier rubber will also make the handling a tad more uncomfortable. Oh and there’s another thing.

Eco tires being replaced by grippy sports ones always decreases the fuel economy of a car and when it comes to an electric one like the BMW ActiveE that’s not good news.

An already limited range being further chopped down seems like a bit of an issue even if you’re a fan of the short drive and the long recharge.

Still, while Turner Motorsport’s idea seems like a shoddy one, the coilover and handling kit of the BMW ActiveE actually has a different kind of importance.

It shows us that in the future, electric cars can be tweaked and that there’s no need to put up with a little eco-box.

It is a little bit of a handful when it comes to the drive, even though BMW fitted one of the sportiest and stiffest packages available on the market.

That’s why the German tuner came back with the S version. It’s meant to be sportier, even quicker and… red.

A revised aerodynamic body makes for less drag, without compromising the downforce. The new setup even ditches those horrid looking rear wings.

They’re more than made up for thanks to some underside engineering and a new, higher performing rear diffuser.

In order to keep you on the power better than before, G-Power have completely changed the transmission with a custom designed unit that can properly handle the added performance.

Otherwise we’re looking at the same engine as before and, unfortunately, the same interior as well.

That means there’s a 4.4 liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine which develops 725 horsepower and 737 lb-ft of torque. With that monster under the bonnet the BMW X6 M becomes even more lively.

It can now go from 0 to 62 in just 4.2 seconds and, should you feel brave enough to do this in a high riding SAV, can go over 190 mph at the top end.

Be warned though, at that point the fuel consumption is counted in fuel tanks to the mile and the emissions are well… i think actual coal is shot out the exhaust every couple of miles.

The BMW M3 used to be a car you could lose in the parking lot but once the American tuner has had a go at it that’s no longer the case.

Stickers, obvious wheels and racing stripes are now at home on the BMW M3 and while they do fit together pretty nicely, it’s not a clean and pleasant presence.

Happily though, they did spend some time working with the performance levels of the sports sedan so you can actually escape the shame quite quickly.

The performance mods come in two flavors for the Vorsteiner GTS-V package; there’s those we know about and those that are kind of shady.

Those that are kind of shady are found under the bonnet. Vorsteiner promises the 4.0 liter V8 a Macht Schnell Stage 2 Intake Charge Kit but we don’t know exactly what difference it makes.

Most of those we know about are aimed at the chassis and handling of the BMW M3. No disrespect intended but we always thought the E92 was rather brilliant at this in standard form.

Regardless of our opinions, Vorsteiner offers a KW Adjustable Spring Sleeve Kit suspension setup, 18 inch Volk Racing TE37 wheels, Hankook RS-3 tires and Brembo brakes.

Individually, all of these accessories are pretty impressive so mixing them with a BMW M3 might be quite impressive.

Pricing wasn’t really mentioned but since the changes aren’t really that dramatic we don’t expect it to be anything very surprising.
