But there’s a much more simple way of modifying a car: by not touching its engine! If that’s the case, then the base car must be pretty impressive, to counteract the lack of extra horses. And what’s more impressive than a BMW 7 Series? Probably no other BMW model. Prior Design chose the luxurious car and garnished it, inside and out, with lots of goodies.

Let’s take it methodically with the exterior. The PD7R Aerodynamic Kit consists of custom front bumper with a lip spoiler, side skirts, a redesigned rear bumper, which incorporates a diffuser, and a boot lid spoiler. All the elements are made of carbon fiber, which means they’re light and resistant.

Two different sets of 20 inch wheels are available, giving the customer the possibility of choosing between different colors.

Onboard, the finest combination of leather and alcantara welcomes the occupants, presenting some of the most impressive stitching in the industry.

Though the German specialists didn’t touch the engine, they helped it by replacing its original exhaust with a new one. Under the car, other mods help the luxury sedan keep its direction, including a new suspension kit and a new set of wide wheels.

I almost hear you asking about the Aerodynamic Kit’s price. It costs 3.600 euros, but keep adding all the other extras and you’ll spend somewhere around 10.000 euros.

It has all it takes to transform a small coupe, like the 2 Series, in a cool looking sports car, adding extra wideness together with a bit of aggressiveness. But there’s a condition: don’t stop here! If you opt for this kit, you must also lower the ride, by buying a sport suspension kit, and match the wideness with a new, proper set of wheels. They must have a big diameter, to perfectly fit the wheel arches, and a specific wideness, to be perfectly aligned with the fenders line. And there you have a perfect looking car!

All you need is a BMW M235i, to reflect its looks under the bonnet. The new 3 liter twin scroll turbo, inline-6 engine, which delivers 326 PS and 450 Nm @ 1300 – 4500 rpm, can do miracles: 0-100km/h in 4.8 seconds and 1 km with standing start in only 23.8 seconds.

The kit consists of a custom made front bumper, with a spoiler lip, bespoke side skirts and fender extensions, redesigned rear bumper with diffuser and a boot lip spoiler. The kit is entirely made of Fiberglass – Duraflex, a fact that transforms it in one of the most affordable kits on the market.

As its name suggets, Prior Design wanted to make this car as similar as possibl to the GT3 racecar. In order to do this, they’ve fitted new 21-inch alloy wheels with a gold finish and 255/30 R21 (front) and 295/25 R21 (rear) Continental tires, a white body paint with blue and red stripes as well as extended wheel arches.

The trunk has received a spoiler lip while tweaked side skirts, mirrors and bonnet are also available.

Another important upgrade can be found under the hood where the BMW 650i got a power boost. The stock 4.4-liter V8 engine is capable to deliver 495 horses and 722 Nm of torque, a power improvement that should certainly improve the acceleration and top speed figures. However, we don’t have specific numbers in this regard.

The extra power made Prior Design to opt for an upgraded sports exhaust system. It is a quad-pipe one and dominated the rear end alongside the diffuser. Pricing and availability details were not released yet.

The exterior has been remodeled with a wide body kit from Prior Design. This kit includes everything from bumper to bumper, spoiler to diffuser, fenders and sleek side vents. The BMW 650i has also been lowered using a classic K&W set of springs.

New kidney grills give the BMW 650i a slightly different identity, same as the 21” forged aluminum rims and low profile sport tires.

The inside is as sleek as the outside. Gloss black dominates while red accents complete the look alongside the newly installed steering wheel.

All in all, the BMW 650i registers a huge improvement over its stock counterpart being one of the sportiest mean looking coupes out there. Tuning has been more than complete and design choices perfectly sustainable. All that remains to be fixed is a driver capable of using all that the BMW 650i has to offer.

Inside, Prior Design opted for high quality materials such as Alcantara and Nappa leather. The brown leather blends nicely with the black accents and will surely enhance your ride.

Now, with the 1st of April gone, Prior Design suggested something interesting. What if their joke, the BMW M6 Pickup, weren’t really a joke? I mean, there are plenty of buyers out there that are just dying to get their hand on a well crafted BMW Pickup. So this means that we should either expect Prior Design to actually build the M6 Pickup, or they just didn’t have enough fun yesterday.

Recently, the aftermarket specialist has released a full wide body kit for the F12 and F13 BMW 6 Series and the respective M variants.

Contrary to the more popular material, carbon fiber, Prior Design decided to go for DURA-Flex, which has the advantage of being paintable. The kit, called PD6xx by Prior Design, provides body panels all around, with the complete list being as follows:

Fortunately, what the guys from Prior Design offer is not something you might consider bad, unless you have really, really bad taste.

Consisting of brand new front bumper and spoiler, a rear diffuser integrated in a reworked bumper, a redesigned hood with a nice air scoop, side skirts and fender extensions, the Aero kit has everything it needs. And with the material used being Dura-Flex FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic), no weight issues will arise from installing it.

Beauty is, indeed, in the eye of the beholder, and from what I have seen so far, the guys from Prior Design have my vote. And as an extra boon, the whole package can be acquired for just €9.000. This is pretty much it, and the long wait for another SUV build starts again.

With the highly anticipated PD6XX body kit underway, the aftermarket specialists have offered us yet another teaser.

Coming in the form of a rendering, the new photo is enough to make any F13 BMW M6 owner tremble in excitement. Huge wheel arches coupled with the rear wing, new spoiler, roof air scoop, side sills and splitter make the M6 look like it was taken out of a video game.

Yet, the promise is that this body kit is street legal. We just hope that this rendering is as close in appearance as the actual product, but we won’t find out until the official unveiling. Still, if we are to judge from the past products released by Prior Design, we can rest assured that this particular body kit will sell.
