<p>Both of them come from the E92 family and both of them had been tweaked by Turner Motorsport. The cars are totally different though.</p>
<figure id="attachment_1440" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-1440" style="width: 520px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="http://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Turner-Motorsport-E92-BMW-M3.png" rel="lightbox-0"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" src="http://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Turner-Motorsport-E92-BMW-M3.png" alt="Turner Motorsport E92 BMW M3" width="520" height="284" class="size-full wp-image-1440" srcset="https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Turner-Motorsport-E92-BMW-M3.png 1536w, https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Turner-Motorsport-E92-BMW-M3-300x164.png 300w, https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Turner-Motorsport-E92-BMW-M3-768x420.png 768w, https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Turner-Motorsport-E92-BMW-M3-1024x559.png 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 520px) 100vw, 520px" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-1440" class="wp-caption-text">Turner Motorsport E92 BMW M3</figcaption></figure>
<p>One of them is simply titled the Frozen Grey M3. It&#8217;s not the limited edition product from BMW but one seriously modded toy.<br />
<span id="more-1438"></span><br />
Being Will Turner&#8217;s personal car, the thing is a street car but the American tuner oriented itself properly on handling, having fitted only a small power boost.</p>
<p>The 4.2 liter V8 engine is only adjusted up to 535 horsepower. That&#8217;s a boost of 25% but it is still less than a whole lot of tune-ups we&#8217;ve seen.</p>
<p><iframe width="520" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/VRunu6g17pQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></p>
<p>Fitting a KW DDC suspension kit, upgraded wheel &amp; tire setup and then opting for a set of brakes that are simply as close to racing units as you can get is what amazes Farah.</p>
<p>Well, maybe impresses him. Amazement is what happens when he steps into the Turner Motorsport M3 racer. This is where he drives a Continental Tire Series Championship winning car.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s the car that Bill Auberlin and Paul Dalla Lana drive these days and it is brilliant. The only problem here is the conditions of the review.</p>
<figure id="attachment_1441" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-1441" style="width: 520px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="http://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Turner-Motorsport-E92-BMW-M3.jpg" rel="lightbox-1"><img decoding="async" src="http://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Turner-Motorsport-E92-BMW-M3.jpg" alt="Turner Motorsport E92 BMW M3" width="520" height="347" class="size-full wp-image-1441" srcset="https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Turner-Motorsport-E92-BMW-M3.jpg 1100w, https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Turner-Motorsport-E92-BMW-M3-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Turner-Motorsport-E92-BMW-M3-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Turner-Motorsport-E92-BMW-M3-1024x682.jpg 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 520px) 100vw, 520px" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-1441" class="wp-caption-text">Turner Motorsport E92 BMW M3</figcaption></figure>
<p>Because the very same car was going to race a couple of days after the shoot, caution was at the top of the priority list.</p>
<p>Even driving ridiculously slowly, a man who&#8217;s driven thousand horsepower cars was completely impressed with the setup.</p>

<p>So far we&#8217;ve yet to see any of them ruin the compact sports car and we seriously doubt that the version we see here, created by Tuningwerk is the first one to fail.</p>
<figure id="attachment_378" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-378" style="width: 520px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="http://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Tuningwerk-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-3.jpg" rel="lightbox-0"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="http://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Tuningwerk-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-3.jpg" alt="Tuningwerk BMW 1 Series M Coupe" width="520" height="346" class="size-full wp-image-378" srcset="https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Tuningwerk-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-3.jpg 1600w, https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Tuningwerk-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-3-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Tuningwerk-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-3-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Tuningwerk-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-3-1024x682.jpg 1024w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 520px) 100vw, 520px" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-378" class="wp-caption-text">Tuningwerk BMW 1 Series M Coupe</figcaption></figure>
<p>The German tuner turned the little coupe into a miniature racer and then they&#8217;ve gone on to give it BMW racing colors. How could that possibly go wrong?<br />
<span id="more-376"></span><br />
Apart from being painted in the traditional BMW war colors, the Tuningwerk 1 Series M Coupe also has Safety Car written on it without any particular competitions being announced.</p>
<p>Maybe they&#8217;re working on the paperwork to obtain clear notification of how that might actually become a reality soon.</p>
<figure id="attachment_379" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-379" style="width: 520px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="http://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Tuningwerk-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-1.jpg" rel="lightbox-1"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="http://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Tuningwerk-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-1.jpg" alt="Tuningwerk BMW 1 Series M Coupe" width="520" height="346" class="size-full wp-image-379" srcset="https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Tuningwerk-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-1.jpg 1600w, https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Tuningwerk-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Tuningwerk-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Tuningwerk-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-1-1024x682.jpg 1024w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 520px) 100vw, 520px" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-379" class="wp-caption-text">Tuningwerk BMW 1 Series M Coupe</figcaption></figure>
<p>What is already here is the modified turbochargers, cooling, exhaust and an ECU remap. Put all these together and the 3.0 liter straight six engine now develops 528 horsepower and 453 lb-ft of torque.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s so much, we&#8217;re not even getting a 0 to 62 time. All we know is that now, the top speed stands at 186 mph. And this is with all of the added downforce.</p>
<p>The latter comes from a revised body kit and a sizable new rear wing. Helping handling even more than that is a set of new tires, light wheels and a brake upgrade.</p>
<figure id="attachment_381" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-381" style="width: 520px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="http://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Tuningwerk-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-2.jpg" rel="lightbox-2"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="http://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Tuningwerk-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-2.jpg" alt="Tuningwerk BMW 1 Series M Coupe" width="520" height="346" class="size-full wp-image-381" srcset="https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Tuningwerk-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-2.jpg 1600w, https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Tuningwerk-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-2-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Tuningwerk-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-2-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.bmwcartuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Tuningwerk-BMW-1-Series-M-Coupe-2-1024x682.jpg 1024w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 520px) 100vw, 520px" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-381" class="wp-caption-text">Tuningwerk BMW 1 Series M Coupe</figcaption></figure>
<p>Finally, the handling and safety cake gets a cherry on top in optional form. If you feel you can do away with the rear seats, Tuningwerk will give you a full rollcage for this lovely little car.</p>
