As you might have guessed, we are about to present to you one such video, featuring the Yokohoma store of the aftermarket specialist Studie AG.

I guess the name is not quite as wide spread as others such AC Schnitzer or 3D Design, but Studie AG is, in fact, one of the leading tuning companies in Japan. The video tour takes us through the shop itself, while also covering the pit are and the car lot.

As you can gather from the video, the tuner is gearing up to take on the new BMW M3 and M4, and a couple M3s can also be seen during the tuning process. Still, for a better picture, let’s just watch the video below, which really doesn’t need any more explaining. Enjoy.

A somewhat sedate F30 3 Series Sedan is in the works, a considerably sharper F10 BMW M5 is being worked alongside it and now one of the newest models is under the knife.

It’s all sounding very exciting to see and Studie AG seem to be working tirelessly around the clock to come up with new cars/packages for them and the likes.

Their PR folk certainly know their way around the business and they will easily build up the hype on these new cars but they may be doing it a little early on.

This time there’s basically nothing to talk about in terms of body, aero tweaks or even paint schemes. This is a typical Mineral White paint finish we’re talking about.

The biggish four door coupe is now sitting on a KW V3 coilover suspension setup and can be teamed to a varying combinations of alloy wheels.

These can range between 20 and 21 inch alloys that are manufactured by Advan or AC Schnitzer and it’s very, very difficult to argue against either of which.

All I wish is that the guys over at Studie AG would get right on top of the models they’re making and actually start launching slightly more intricate tweaks.

Well, the Asians working for Studie AG certainly seem to be in on the sport. They’re currently working on an F30 328i project car and they’re also taking on something more impressive.

Not the bigger brother, the bigger, better, faster brother that is the F10 BMW M5. The recipe hasn’t changed too much in between.

The exterior doesn’t get too many mods and there seems to be a lot of options in the alloy wheel department. Maybe they’re probing the field or maybe the want to offer the lot.

The important thing about the new wheels is that they’re all stunning. 20 or 21 inch rollers always have a presence to show off but it’s the selection Studie have is among the best.

Maybe the fact that big names in the business such as Advan and AC Schnitzer are involved. The latter is also the company making the new body kit tweaks.

Under the Frozen Silver paintjob that is specific for the F10 M5 the sharpened lines feel right at home. New wheels and lines are highlighted by the lowered suspension as well.

Unlike the F30, the F10 BMW M5 gets a KW Clubsports setup which offers mostly the same effect in terms of looks but feels better in terms of performance.

After all, if the 328i allows for a few compromises here and there, a super sports sedan is much more focused than that.

There are good and bad sides to this equation. First of all you can’t really get in touch with them since they seem to have an website made out of alien drawings.

As if that wasn’t enough, they’re named like a German company, which is quite easily going to fall victim to confusion and other such problems.

Regardless of these tiny little niggles that would never stop a true petrolhead from getting the toys he wants, the F30 3 Series is actually pretty impressive.

It’s one of those “greatest hits” version of the F30 BMW 3 Series as it gets a bunch of upgrades from various manufacturers of good sounding names.

The rollers are 20 inch Hamann Anniversary EVO wheels or 20 inch limited edition BBS LM, both in a sharp looking black.

Whichever you chose they will be fitted with a set of lowered H&R springs and they’ll even allow you to have the M Sport package without any fuss.

What isn’t very impressive is the fact that the tuner went for the F30 328i. No tuner should ever pick the entry-level version in my mind.

Due to the pricing of cars in Japan, their upkeep and the fact that this package was designed with cost in mind, it seems that Studie AG have a better understanding of their market.

They probably don’t have the same sort of pointless preconceptions that I do.
