BMW, being the car industry giant that it is, has the resources to throw around and take on projects other companies can’t.
With many unique an rare BMWs out there, one more brings in more publicity, so why not go for it, right?
Last year, the German car maker was paying its tribute to an USA classic circuit, the Lime Rock Park. Tribute came in the form of a special edition BMW M3 Lime Rock Park. Setting it apart from the more mundane M3s out there (if that can be said about an M3) was a nice Orange paint and a Competition Package as standard, while the interior was draped in Nappa leather.
While it was a nice project, many thought BMW could have done better. Some tuners even took it upon themselves to prove that a superior M3 Lime Rock Park can be built, and so the did. The latest to built their very own tribute M3 is tuner VAC Motorsports. They fitted the Bimmer with a VF620 supercharger kit, bringing the BMW M3 to the 455 Hp mark. The rest is pretty much “standard” M3 Lime Rock Park.
