Let’s take a look at what the Japanese tuners are up to these days. And considering that they usually take things to the extreme, the new aftermarket project from 3D Design has a lot of potential.
It involves the F06 BMW M6 and plenty carbon fiber.
Considering that the M6 is a pretty decent beast on its own accord, the guys from 3D Design decided to leave it alone and not meddle with the power output. Or, if they did, they are not telling yet. Instead they focused on aesthetics, mostly for the exterior.
With a new carbon fiber body kit, 3D Design hit most of the marks with a new front spoiler lip, new side skirts, a rear mounted spoiler and even a nice diffuser. To complete the transformation, they also hoisted the F06 BMW M6 atop custom alloy wheels. Some extra elements were made available for the interior too, with optional alloy pedals and custom mats.
The overall result is quite enjoyable, without going overboard, and we expect to see more from 3D Design.
