Famous Vossen Wheels tuner has recently fitted this exquisite matte black BMW i8 with an exclusive bagging treatment which makes it extremely rare and one-of-a-kind. In fact, this would be a premiere for the all-mighty BMW i8 plug-in hybrid to receive such a special treatment.

Under the hood, this BMW i8 still packs the BMW i8 plug-in hybrid the conventional 1.5-liter with three-cylinder turbocharged TwinPower Turbo petrol burner, backed by the BMW eDrive technology electric drive system. The plug-in hybrid sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, at a top speed of 250 km/h.

We were used to seeing other models from BMW receiving a bagging program, but we have to admit that the i8 also looks astonishing and extremely aggressive.

The aftermarket specialists from Vossen Wheels tuner have installed the custom-made Accuair air suspension system with special pipes, which were fitted underneath the car`s boot. The result is a reduced ride height which provides the model with a more insane feel and look. Of course, I wouldn’t drive it on bumpy roads.

A bagging treatment always comes hand-in-hand with wide and custom wheels, and the tuner have done so by wrapping the plug-in hybrid with their special Vossen LC Series LC-104 alloy wheels, sized 22×9 up front and 22×10.5 in the rear. The wheels come with clear powder which highlights the car`s exterior matte black.
