As we’ve come to expect, the applied modifications do not change the vehicle’s design radically. In fact, the applied parts build on the original design and make certain features more visible. The BMW 740e iPerformance is the perfect candidate for such an attempt. The M Performance parts slightly change the 740e from a luxurious limousine to a sportier variant of the same model of vehicle. The parts also contribute to making this BMW feel more premium than the stock version.

So what changes were made to the 740e iPerformance? As far as the exterior is concerned changes were registered to the front side of the vehicle with the change of the grill’s accents as well as the addition of slightly different design elements to the bumper. The side of the car has been improved with carbon fiber parts. The M Performance logo is also made visible on this side of the vehicle.

Probably one of the biggest changes in the design of the BMW 740e iPerfromance is the choice of rims. The 21 inch rims fitted on this particular build make the car look more aggressive and sporty. Behind the rims one can notice the M Sport calipers, painted in blue that further contribute to the BMW 740e’s mean, menacing aspect. The exterior seems to build upon the original features the stock BMW 740e iPerformance integrated in its design.

When it comes to the interior, not many changes have been made. Apart from the bright red leather seats that seem to be the centerpiece of the BMW 740e iPerformance’s interior, the rest of the elements on the inside of the car seem to have been left as were in the stock counterpart of this vehicle. One reason for this could be the fact that there was little room for improvement in the design of the interior. Comfort is definitely BMW 740e’s strong suit.

The BMW 740e iPerformance with M Performance parts is definitely an improved variant of this vehicle’s stock counterpart. The improvements are not radical. They tend to build upon the already existing features of the car, bringing out in the open the best parts of this particular BMW model.

The car was unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show alongside the new F12 BMW 6 Series, which has received a tuning same as for this F31 BMW 3 Series M Sport.

2013 F31 BMW 3 Series Touring M Sport by AC Schnitzer received a special orange color.

At the interior of AC Schnitzer F31 BMW 3 Series we can see that were added ACS’s new iDrive knob, a new hand brake handle, shift knob, painted trims which comes with the body color, AC Schnitzer aluminium pedals and ACS floor mats.

The exterior’s components of this tuning package from AC Schnitzer are: forged wheels, front bumper lips and the center bumper metal grille, painted diffuser at the rear bumper, a new exhaust system with 4 pipes, etc.

This company is called Japan Skipper and it’s starting to get pretty hard to figure out where it’s based at or where it’s originating from.

All jokes aside, the Japanese tuner came up with a pretty acceptable package for one of our favorite cars. There really is nothing to give it away.

It’s not really a riced up, overly exaggerated-trinket-loaded machine that would actually create the perfect scenario for some bad jokes.

It’s also not a completely murdered out vehicle that would be of any use to, erm, associations such as the Yakuza and whoever their rivals competitors might be.

In fact, this particular 5 Series Japan Skipper tuned wouldn’t be fitting for any criminal organization. While it comes with the M Sport package, the engine isn’t the biggest one around.

Being based of the F10 BMW 523i, it comes with power from a 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine which burns gasoline to the tune of 185 horsepower.

Given the new enormous, forged alloy wheels and the Nitto tires it was fitted with, we’d assume this Bavarian blooded sedan was actually developed for going very slow.

Going fast is a cliche and the Japanese don’t really bill themselves as major fans of high speed runs. That is unless of course you own a tuned car.

Which isn’t what a 5 Series from Japan Skipper is, it’s more of a tweaked machine, really.

You need to keep a sense of reality, you need to be aware of yourself and get your priorities sorted. It is not socially acceptable to mix such ideas.

But what if you chose to not give a damn about society? You had what you want in trade for friends, approval of colleagues and tires which aren’t flat every time you park.

Quite the conundrum but if you’re faced with it, you’re very likely to end up contacting Hamann Motorsport to sort you out. They’ve officially unveiled a new package almost custom designed for you.

Actually it is custom designed but it is specifically tailored to your, less than natural needs. The F12 BMW 6 Series, M Sport included, gets a bit of a touch up.

The lower body kit is redesigned as an addon package for both bumpers and the side skirts. A small boot lid spoiler is also fitted.

Further highlighting the fact that you’re outside “the law” are the new 20 or 21 inch sized alloy wheels. Their multi-spoke design is stunning from whatever angle you admire it.

The new suspension which implies a 30 mm drop in ride height might also help that aspect. Inside the car Hamann chose carbon fibre for the dashboard, handles and console, aluminium for the pedals and velour for the floor mats.

Pricing I’m afraid is not available yet. Even though the package is quite a good looking one, there’s not really that much work gone into it so costs should be “decent”.
