The people who actually work on the tuning packages they create haven’t spent a moment on thinking about the name and instead had a go at changing the BMW Z4.

Changing may actually be to strong a word for the circumstance, the changes going on in the brand might seem more substantial than the Z4 tune’s changes.

There are now performance changes. As far as we know there are no interior changes either. There aren’t even any new toys to consider.

In fact, SR Auto have taken a lesson from the neglect BMW have been given the Z4 and updated it with a couple of minimalist changes to the exterior.

Last time BMW had a go, they offered new colors for the convertible hardtop. SR Auto, on the other hand, have created a new option for you with the whole paint job and the wheels.

You can now have it in a Black that’s not matte yet seems to absorb the light around it with ease and a new set of two tone alloys.

These are 20 inch rims with a CEC C882 design that have been painted (powder coated?) in Vibrant Red and Gunmetal Silver.

It’s quite the nice effect but we honestly thing there are still plenty of tweaks the tuning world can offer the BMW Z4.

Either that or something that would seem pretty fitting as long as there’s plenty of shiny stuff and preferably some machine guns attached.

Then you grow up and go through the black rapper opulent SUV stage, maybe the low-rider idea and then the middle age situation of the overpowered muscle car.

Eventually you’ll come to your senses and go for a normal kind of car that starts up every morning, doesn’t spin its tires on every time you touch the pedal and maybe even has a soft top to soak up the sun.

That’s pretty much the moment when you buy a BMW 6 Series. It does everything a normal car does but isn’t as tedious as the 5 Series.

And because you bought yourself a car which stands out, you’ll likely call up a tuning company like SR Auto to make it a little more special.

Trouble is, the wife didn’t want it to be widened if she ever drives it nor did she agree to the flame thrower setup the kid inside you still wants, you’ll need to limit your customizing.

SR Auto is only to happy to help you out with all these requests by fitting a lot of chrome bits, at the helm of which there’s a set of huge wheels.

You’ll somehow claim you got the wrong wheels to your friends but secretly you’ll know those rap video Escalade chromed alloys are what you want.

You even like the fact that the package is called the Teflon Don don’t you?

A creation of SR Auto Group, It’s called the Shadow Walker package and was developed for the F12 BMW 650i. It fits the grand tourer greatly.

The package can probably be applied to the whole of the current BMW range without too much fuss since it seems to meet some core brand feats of the Bavarian car maker.

We’re looking at a simply flowing design, a discrete presence and an imposing image.

Some would even go as far as to say it’s an austere look. I’m not in agreement but even if it were true, we couldn’t really complain.

None of the BMW 650i’s features or body panels were changed, with the most important substantial difference here being the new wheels.

The F12 now uses 20 inch Circuit T03 rollers which are finished in black. Speaking of which, the entire car is now painted black.

It’s one of those matte black situations that I must admit I am not very fond of. Therefore my saying that I appreciate the look of the F12 Shadow Walker even in these conditions should weigh more.

The slightly glossy finish of the wheels and the one of the roof seem to highlight the F12 BMW 650i’s sleek profile.

My only request to SR Auto Group upon creating this vehicle is that if they don’t spread the love to other BMW creations, at least the F12 M6 should be getting a Shadow Walker package.
