American tuner Vorsteiner has been custom making a widebody for the E92 BMW M3 for a while now and the impending death of the model isn’t stopping them.
There’s still plenty of time till the F30 BMW M3 comes along so why not keep on milking the cow right? Anyway, the kit in question is the GTRS3.
It was recently delivered to a customer in a two tone paint finish matte blue and black finish to maximize the aggressive look.
Overall, there’s plenty of similarities to the original Vorsteiner GTRS3 BMW M3 E92 but the owner has left his touch on it.
To begin with, he’s opted for Vorsteiner V-308 alloy wheels that do have tires on them but these aren’t actually visible.
Going into the details we find an Akrapovic Evolution exhaust system and titanium tail pipes. A total of 53 lbs are shaved off the final weight.
Flow-optimized link pipes, 2×100 cpsi sport metal catalysts, integrated resonators and split mufflers all make for a lot more noise, less concern about emissions and added performance.
If we’re honest, just 22 horsepower and 26 lb-ft of torque aren’t very impressive when more than 400 make up the basis but the new raunchy sound is obviously difficult to ignore.
What a typical owner pays for the Vorsteiner GTRS3 is something we’ve been trying to find out for a while but what this one payed for the added spec and the new paint is going to remain a secret forever.
