The top of the line SUV from the entire BMW lineup, the almighty X6 M is popping-up in our news again with another impressive power boost carried out by the technicians from German tuner G-Power.
There aren’t any visual modifications carried out on the SUV`s body style, except for the massive 23-inch Hurricane RR Forged wheels, which make it even more outstanding.
However, mechanically speaking, the model is packed with a lot of parts that contribute to its increase in power. We are dealing here with the GX6M-RS coil-over suspensions system, stainless steel downpipes, bespoke titanium exhaust system with four 100 mm diameter tailpipes, as well as two rear silencers.
The car`s 4.4-liter V8 engine can be had with the tuner`s Stage 1, involving the Bi-Tronik 5 V1 power module, with 641 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque, quite significant than the stock 567 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque.
The Stage 2 comes with the Bi-Tronik 5 V2 and Bi-Tronik 2 V2 power modules, meaning an output of 690 horsepower and 905 Nm of torque. The last Stage 3 kit, involves the fitting of new turbochargers, ECU remapping, all helping the SUV reach a staggering 739 horsepower and 980 Nm of torque, allowing a quarter mile sprint in just 11.5 seconds.
The Stage 3 kit also comes with a custom and lightweight exhaust system, which delivers an impressive engine soundtrack; it is also lighter, weighing just 23 kg and helping the SUV received the aforementioned power and throttle.
