In terms of power, the standard 4.4-liter V8 engine delivers now 750 horses and 1,000 Nm of torque. The standard BMW X5 M needs only 4,2 seconds to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h before hitting the top speed of 250 km/h.

However, the extra power in Manhart’s model will improve these figures, even though they haven’t released new numbers yet.

At the exterior, buyers will get 23-inch forged alloy wheels, revised bumpers, a black front grille, carbon fiber mirror caps, a sports exhaust and a vented hood.

Last but not least, these two photos show us some interior improvements, namely we see the new sports seats. However, we still have to wait until we get full details from Manhart Racing.

We are talking about a certain model that the tuner presented at the Essen Motor Show 2013, based on the BMW M135i. The reason behind the new name MH1 400 should be evident. After they were done with it, the vehicle managed to pull a nice 400 Hp and 561 Nm of torque.

The impressive display of power is held in place by additional parts like a set of KW Clubsport Coilovers, brand new brake system and a custom set of OZ wheels measuring 19 inches in diameter. The outside styling is also quite eye catching, without too much work put into it. A couple of yellow features on a black overall paint does a pretty good job of it.

As far as our memory serves us, the E71 BMW X6 hasn’t been their favorite toy to play around with. In preparation for the Essen Motor Show they worked over the unusual X6.

Since the show’s popularity has wildly expanded over the recent years, this may not be a good way round to go and unveil your tweak on the SAC.

After all, it’s the place where other tuning companies from Germany or the world all over will showcase some incredibly high performing versions of the M powered X6.

You wouldn’t want to compete against that. To some degree, Manhart Racing are on the same page with that decision. They didn’t go alongside predictable lines.

They did not opt for a higher powered X6M. They did not fit sports suspension that’s basically rock solid and nor did they fit a bulging body kit.

Instead, they completely trolled those expecting a million horsepower X6M as they allied with the Germans from Wuppertal to creat the Dirt Edition.

Once you hear the name the appearance becomes less surprising. The car itself, the E71 X6 M remains standard, apart from the wheel setup.

Off-road tires and wheels go on, as do some extended mud guards. Just to keep the trolling effect going, a new vinyl wrap goes on.

It now genuinely looks like some of the toys I had as a kid since it has the US Army symbol on it.

Interestingly, lots of changes have occurred, so the new exterior appearance is actually justified. Since it also looks great, it’s a welcome one anyway.

On the technical nature however, things as as familiar as before, all of the performance details remaining the same as initially announced.

The S63Tu powerplant remains the star under the bonnet. It would be a little foolish to go for any engine swap but the performance was actually enhanced by quite a bit.

Depending on how much you want to have at your right foot’s disposal or how much you want to spend on a Manhart Racing M5, you get different power outputs.

The 4.4 liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine can be tweaked from 560 horsepower to one of three packages but in this particular case it is 646 horsepower and 570 pound-feet of torque.

That’s enough to hit a top speed of 196 mph, now that the limiter was removed. Staying on the road if you hit a bump at those speeds is tricky.

That’s when you’ll be relying on the fully adjustable MHR by KW Clubsport chassis frame to do its job. The body’s aero kit generates more downforce, but it’s not enough for such conditions.

All this amazing work goes into the Manhart Racing F10 BMW M5 yet what I’m focused on is how great the MHR08 Deep Concave 21 inch alloy wheels by ADV.1 is what I’m focused on.

As their name suggests, these fellas don’t really get too bothered about fitting ostrich skin on the upholstery or tinted windows.

In keeping with the stereotype we all have build up around the Germans, Manhart Racing stuck to the important serious bits of the tuning process.

Their take on the four wheel drive version of the V8 powered BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe gets engine upgrades, chassis tweaks and braking improvements first of all.

Some minor tweaks to the bumpers, the skirts and the exhaust tips tell us just how serious they are. They didn’t even change anything about the looks that wasn’t very low down on the car anyway.

Under the bonnet, its 4.4 liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine goes from 450 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque to a much beefier 543 / 538.

The change is achieved by punching up the boost levels and so the exhaust system itself needed a lot more work in order to keep everything top notch.

Now that acceleration and speed has been tweaked, it only felt natural for the tuner to give the braking system a serious upgrade.

This is why the used the F10 BMW M5 brake package, albeit with a few modifications and then fitted the M Division’s 20 inch wheels around them.

Finally, the chassis receives a bit of sharpening up with an adaptation package from MHR. All that acceleration and braking will bring about some more stress to the entire thing so it had to be dealt with somehow.

Manhart Racing decided to upgrade their MH5-S BiTurbo even further from what they had recently unveiled as a tuning program for the F10 BMW M5.

There are a few things that have changed here and there but, as you’d expect, it’s all in the minor details and most of the car is as we’d remember.

The 4.4 liter twin-turbocharged S63Tu V8 engine pumps out the same 633 hp, 670 hp or 735 hp depending on the sort of package you opt for.

Similar gains are noticed with the torque figure and that’s reflected in the overall performance figures. The new stuff does make a difference.

There’s a lot more carbon fiber used in the Manhart Racing MH5-S BiTurbo and the German tuner tells us it’s in the places that matter.

Carboin fiber is what the front lip, the trunk spoiler, the rear diffuser and the vented hood are made of. The aero are impressively done, but the vented hood is what got my attention.

Normally they look like tosser tuning options and this one isn’t far from that look. While it’s not fitting of a BMW, an engine pushing 735 horsepower will want some extra air flow.

I wonder though would painting it have made such a big difference in the way of weight? After all, the dignified presence is an enormous of the BMW M5’s appeal. Even if its tuned as aggressively as this.

Can you afford the option of fitting a massive tuning package for your BMW 1 Series M Coupe without asking what it costs?

The questions is available mostly due to the fact that Manhart Racing’s tuning division have made their MH1 S-Biturbo package available for the market.

They’ve done that without announcing the pricing for it. That’s a bit of a concern but the conversion is certainly desirable.

It’s a thorough package with starts off from the beginning as there’s new air guide with a carbon airbox and custom downpipes.

Cooling is also considerably improved because it has to keep the 3.0 liter inline six cylinder engine cooled. When your engine gets pumped up, keeping it from burning out is an issue.

Especially when your car has an extra 125 horsepower than the stock option. What it now has is 465 horsepower and 443 lbs-ft of torque.

There’s just now way you wouldn’t want that in your car. The Manhart MH1 S-BiTurbo kit comes with several aerodynamic tweaks of a minimal construction.

This is both because they’re made out of lightweight carbon fiber as well as because you have to be a major petrolhead to notice them.

Lesson over, let’s get to the driving. You will love the engine and its new output but you’re likely to take notice of the change the Continental Sport Contact 5P tires make as well.

Just in case you want to keep more connected with the mechanics of it all, Manhart fit a new screen inside to show some usable data of the whole thing.

It kind of works, things are nicely broken down but the amazement factor of the intricately named tuning package for the M3 still stands out.

If you thought the G-Power Tornado RS you’re in for a shock. If you thought the Dinan V10 M3 you’re in for an even bigger shock this time.

Manhart racing have taken out the 4.0 liter V8 engine and swapped in the 4.4 liter twin-turbo V8 you get in a BMW X5 M. That’s essentially the same S63 you get in the F10 BMW M5.

Not that it wouldn’t be enough but the German tuner then optimized that engine so that it would push out a great deal more power.

Figures for the Manhart MH3 V8 RS Clubsport speak of it being capable of 750 horsepower and 671 lb-ft of torque. Containing that sort of grunt isn’t easy.

The MH3 V8 RS uses the same transmission as the X5 M and the rear differential is the same as you’d find on the E60 BMW M5.

Still, the numbers don’t cease to amaze. The weight of this seriously tricked out bimmer is just 1.590kg now.

Going from 0 to 62 takes nu more than 3.2 seconds and the top speed is yet to be achieved. So far, the tuner estimates that 217 mph or more is possible.

They’ve actually rolled up their sleeves and actually went through to complete the project. The MH5 S-Biturbo BMW M5 is here.

They updated the exterior, the performance and went on to announce the changes in the most German way possible.

Manhart Racing tuned up the ECU map and then fitted an in-house valve controlled exhaust system with 90 mm Tips, 200 cell sport catalytic converters and downpipes.

I have little understanding of what either of these tuning bits mean but we do know the changes the MH5 S-Biturbo gets stand for two things.

The first would be the fact that the M5’s 4.4 liter V8 engine now develops 633 brake horsepower and 575 lb-ft of torque.

The second change would be how the tuning on the Manhart Racing MH5 S-Biturbo not only improves this car but also creates the opportunity for future improvements.

All those redesigned bits in the body are there to help aerodynamics but cooling is also a major factor here. Apart from the newly drawn bits, they’ve also lost some weight.

That’s thanks to usage of carbon fiber in the bonnet, a the new diffuser and the trunk – bootlid spoiler assembly package.

No price tag is available, no production figures have been stated and there’s no word on what the racing team has planned for those extra improvement room.

If the BMW M5 got a makeover, why wouldn’t one of the company’s more exciting products get a similar makeover with the equation.

Enter the Manhart MH1 S-Biturbo; a special conversion for the BMW 1 Series M Coupe. This is where things get a little more interesting.

Before we get to the new look let’s consider the amount of people who claim the original car doesn’t get enough of a power boost from BMW.

If the 1 Series would be faster than the M3, things would be seriously problematic. Manhart racing doesn’t have enough time to consider corporate dilemmas so they came up with the Stage 3 idea.

Fiddle is not the word we should use. Let’s say Manhart racing went on to monster the mods on the 3.0 liter turbocharged straight six cylinder.

That’s why the same engine now produces a total of 465 horsepower and 442 ft-lb torque. I wonder if Stage 3 is what they call the boss level.

You get a carbon fiber air box, sports exhaust system with downpipes and stainless steel mufflers. This is where they mixed in the enormous turbocharger.

Further more, the German tuner made sure to upgrade the whole of the cooling system so that all your hooning needs are met without any steam appearing in the equation.

The final bit of the equation was a carbon fiber body kit. This one is painted black and looks seriously evil even while it’s standing still.
