After having a look at the Senner Tuning version of the BMW X6 diesel, the Lumma Design version appeared back on the cards.
The BMW X6 xDrive40d is once again used as the starting base and the 3.0 liter straight six cylinder twin-turbocharged unit doesn’t seem to be complaining.
Extra attention is always nice so it would only seem natural to get such a reaction. Lumma Design’s ideas for the rest of the car are different though.
340 horsepower and 494 lb-ft of torque is more than Senner develops but not by much. In fact, the difference is so small it’s almost certainly impossible to notice.
What is likely going to be easily noticeable is the difference in styling. Lumma Design went for aggression and a bit of an alpha male feeling.
I might sound stupid right now but the Lumma Design BMW X6 xDrive40d doesn’t have the chiseled look of an actor but the hairy chested scarred appearance of an action hero.
The new 22 inch alloy wheels aren’t very aggressive but the new body kit certainly is. And don’t even get me going on that “harmless” black decal running around most of the car.
A final considerable difference is found in the redesigned interior. This is where no added gadgets are present, no new shapes and nothing was removed either.
You do however get a much more lighted up presence from the color scheme and all of the materials were upgraded by Lumma Design.
Alcantara, fine leather, aluminium pedals and carbon fiber trim, it’s all there in the X6 diesel.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COAST?
