As much as I might love a nice BMW M3 fitted with aftermarket parts and sporting a nice design, a custom BMW bike, while much rarer, can really warm my heart.
And for all intents and purposes, the custom bike Giulio Paz built is a BMW at heart.
Starting with the 1.200 cc boxer engine from BMW, he pretty much built the rest of the bike around it, and the result is pretty astounding. The artist went ahead and did a bit of rethinking about what a motorcycle should really look like. Using only parts supplied by the Bonamici Racing, he managed to retain a bit of a classic look, while using every technology at his disposal.
He placed the fuel tank under the seat, for not just a meaner aspect, but also a lower center of mass and better handling. If this a true BMW bike, you will have to judge for yourself. Fact is that Giulio Paz plans to build more unique machines, and if every one will look like the BMW R1200 Diva, they won’t go unnoticed.
