The BMW M2 is probably one of the best choices amongst the models offered by this particular manufacturer. With a personality of its own, the M2 is easy to fall in love with. The perfect balance between performance and comfort, offered by the BMW M2, can hardly be matched by any other car make or model. The guys over at 3D Design thought otherwise.

The BMW M2 was painted in a shade of blue called Long Beach Blue, a color that immediately attracts attention. Sporty, aggressive looking front and rear bumpers were added. Along with these 3D Design also fitted matching side skirts. The spoiler is entirely made of carbon fiber. The same material was also used for certain details on the bumpers and side skirts. The rims, wrapped in thin tires complete the sleek, sporty look of this particular BMW M2.

Under the hood, the BMW M2 has a slightly modified version of the N55 engine. Coupled to it is a custom made 3D Design exhaust system. Apart from the performance gain, the exhaust system also looks stunning on this particular BMW M2 build. It fits with the car’s identity very well. The BMW M2 by 3D Design is a true powerhouse. It is fast and nimble. The guys at 3D Design have kept the core structure and spirit of the BMW M2.

With the BMW M2, 3D Design made a clear point. While the car was already balanced in terms of look and feel, improvements, even though not necessary, could be made. Modifications were not made to change the identity of the BMW M2, but to rather bring out the particularities of this specific model. The result was a more aggressive and sporty looking BMW M2, a variant that many will probably line up to purchase. This BMW M2 is another success story for the guys over at 3D Design, a garage that takes pride in all of its project builds.

Apart from the interesting livery applied to the vehicle the BMW M5 F90 MotoGP Safety Car features a suite of exterior modifications. One such immediately noticeable addition is the front carbon fiber addition to the bumper. The iconic kidney grills are also made out of carbon fiber on this particular variant of the BMW M5 F90, giving it an overall sporty and aggressive look.

The rims complete the package by further adding to the overall sharp aspect of the car. According to BMW this particular safety car is modeled after the M8 GTE, one of BMW’s next year debut vehicles. The addition of flashing lights as normal as it seems, complements the car’s design by making it look official, as if it was a police vehicle.

Another interesting fact is that this particular BMW M5 F90 is the first safety car provided by the manufacturer to feature the all new M xDrive technology, the main idea here being that the driver can send all the engine’s power to the rear wheels at a simple push of a button. How the car will benefit from this, in the line of work it is made to operate, is something we will all have to see.

The engine has also suffered several upgrades. With its 4.4 liter bi-turbo V8 engine, this car packs more than a punch. In fact, it seems powerful enough to race on the MotoGP track. It’s a shame this car is destined to be used as a safety car, actually. One thing that should be noted is that the BMW F90 M5 MotoGP Safety Car’s hood has been fitted with latches. This alone is an indicator of just how powerful the engine in this vehicle is.

The interior of the car while not as interesting has its own hidden gems. The M4 looking bucket seats are exactly that. Seen from outside, the seats make this BMW seem, once again, like a race car rather than a safety car used in MotoGP tournaments. It is clear that in this case BMW attempted to create more than just a simple safety car, but rather a beefy and sporty ride to showcase at such events.

A cheap alternative that can make your 2016 BMW M2 Coupe much faster and more powerful than the BMW M3 or M4 would be the Speed-Busters` choice, which comes handy with just 799 euro, for a fine power kit for your M2 Coupe.

Today, BMW M2 Coupe is regarded as the cheaper alternative of the M3 or M4, but even so, this exquisite car is capable of impressive performance.

The car packs an S55 3.0-liter M TwinPower Turbo inline straight-six, which is not the same found on the M3/M4, capable of delivering a good 370 horsepower and 465 Nm of torque, and able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds when hooked to a DCT, so the figures are almost as much impressive as an M3.

But in case you want more juice out of the box, then you should head straight to the tuner`s shop for some extra horses. Their special power kit can raise the car`s power up to an impressive 426 horsepower and 620 Nm of torque, way much than the M3 / M4.

Even if it still comes with less power but with more torque, this lad here should be way faster than the big brothers when sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h. Unfortunately, for the moment, there are no official news regarding the sprint. Stay tuned for more details in the near future!

At the exterior, we see a new yellow finish with carbon fiber parts such as the front spoiler lip, hood, roof and rear diffuser. Manhart also offers new black alloy wheels with contrasting yellow calipers, revised side mirror caps in the same finish and black side strips.

The contrasting exterior look makes the car seem both aggressive and stylish. It is nice to see that the tuner used only two colors instead of going crazy with too complicated combinations. However, the appearance is not all as Manhart also tweaked the 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine under the hood.

If the stock model delivers 370 horses, Manhart’s creation is capable to put out 450 horsepower thanks to a series of improvements. To be more precise, the tuner changed the downpipes with better ones, fitted a special sports exhaust system and remapped the ECU.

For now, the MH2 450 kit is under development, with more details and photos to be released closer to the launch. Expect the new BMW M2 by Manhart to be available early next year. Pricing details are also unavailable for now.

The German folks from Hamann have played a little bit with this gorgeous blue BMW M2 Coupe, the sports car receiving a wide body kit that would make it stand out from the crowd. And I bet we will see it in real flash next year, when it will be released on the market.

We can thus admire the new and wide front splitter, side skirts, rear spoiler and diffuser along with the custom tailpipes. The tuner may also think of some goodies inside and some upgrades under the hood. Otherwise, the model looks hot with the new set of wheels, upgraded suspension system and a few more with that.

Under the hood, we should expect some upgrades as well, which would make it faster than the stock 370 horsepower. We might be dealing here with around 400 horsepower, thanks to a remapped ECU and an engine software upgrade.

And while I can’t really speak for them, I imagine they weren’t all that impressed, and here’s why.

First off, we have to take into consideration that with the introduction of the BMW 2 and 4 Series, the company has not only just better differentiate they models, while working to reduce the number of underlying platforms, but they also went with the design language in a different direction.

By that reasoning, you would expect the artist to depict the future BMW M2 to take into consideration what the 2 Series looks like, and more importantly, what the BMW M3 and M4 look like now. That doesn’t seem to happen here. More so, if you are too look at the air intakes or the carbon fiber roof, this looks more like a tuning project than a preview of the BMW M2. And if we are to judge the rendering from that perspective, we could be a bit more lenient. It does look like something a lot of people would actually buy in order to tune their car.

Called the BMW M2, it is a marvelous combination of the 1970s BMW 2002 exterior and 1980s E30 BMW M3 underpinnings.

The 2.3 liter, 4 cylinder S14 engine produces 200 Hp, and thanks to the small platform, the BMW M2 offers a quicker sprint to 100 km/h. Installing the engine and transmission took a bit of redesigning, with the gear box needing a new custom cradle and drive shafts.

They also boxed the chassis to provide additional strength and the suspension got new coilovers. The BMW M2 was fitted with Willwood brakes and sits atop a set of Alpina wheels. For the interior, Bavarian Workshop used perforated Nappa leather and seats from Recaro.

This kind of customization is not that common, and in a sea of tuned out BMW M3s it’s like a breath of fresh air. The only real downside of this is that such quality work and design doesn’t really come cheap.
