The aftermarket specialists from Rowen tuning have recently carried out a special aero kit, the model being also previewed in an exceptional photo session.

As we can depict from the photos below, the Rowen BMW Z4 packs revised front and rear bumpers, chunky side skirts, along with front and rear spoilers, updated diffuser and side skirts, while the back adds the standout Titan blue exhaust system.

The BMW Z4 by Rowen is also complemented by the new set of wheels, which adds a more elegant approach. What I particularly like about this car is that the mods are not too overrated and make it more appealing to the eye.

On the outside, Carlex Design offers a two-color body wrap, combining grey and silver colours, as well as new front and rear bumpers, a carbon fiber rear diffuser and new alloy wheels. In the back, there’s a quad-pipe exhaust system but really nothing more.

Even so, you don’t have to be afraid as there are some interior tweaks too.

The specialists at Carlex Design opted for black Alcantara upholstery, carbon fiber inserts, buffalo leather and much more. A sports steering wheel is also available while a pair of sports seats provide both comfort and stability.

Under the hood is a powerful V8 engine sourced from an older-gen BMW M3, but there are no further details in this regard. There are also little to no details about pricing and availability for the BMW Z4 by Carlex Design.

The same can be said about the latest of their projects, which involves the E89 BMW Z4 roadster.

When the owner brought the Z4 into PSI’s shop, he had a lot of ideas in mind, and the guys delivered in a great way. Right away you can spot the nice Atacama Yellow paint job that goes well with the M Performance gloss black grilles and the M Sport front and rear bumper and the rear diffuser.

For a complete new body, a 3D Design front lip and Tekarbon mirror caps were added. Other visual alteration include the Volk Racing TE37 Formula Silver wheels and H&R lowering springs. On the performance side, PSI installed one COBB V3 ECU kit, Eisenmann exhaust, Evolution Racewerks intercooler and an AFE Stage 2 cold air intake. Enjoy.

This particular BMW Z4 is a very good example of a nice tune, even if it’s just aesthetic. Rowen decided to go with the standard new features like new front and rear bumpers, side skirts, new diffuser complete with new exhaust system and a lot of LED lights.

There are a lot of decals added to the car, also, and even some blue accents here and there on the car. Last, but not least, a new set of wheels were also added. The grand total cost for this kit is around $7000, which seems a good price for what it offers.

While there are plenty takes on the Z4, with improvements in both performance and aesthetic sectors, few are quite as awesome looking as this one. The Japanese aftermarket specialists managed to create this wide body kit, drastically altering the look of the vehicle, while still keeping it sane.

Quite the achievement, and when full details will be available on the internet, we will know how much more oomph, if any, this nice E89 BMW Z4 has.

Yes, it is, indeed, a Chinese project, and it’s flamboyant to say the least.

Taking inspiration from traditional Chinese dragons, the owner decided to turn his BMW Z4 into one. First some gold was applied to the exterior, because nothing says “bling” like the colour of the precious metal. Next up, the owner fashioned dragon parts for the hood, doors, and trunk.

With the head of the dragon on the hood, and a nice tail on the trunk, the doors have been fitted with some nice wings. While the whole project is a bit too much, as many Chinese tuning projects tend to be, the craftsmanship on the BMW Z4 custom pieces seems to the top notch. The vehicle in this form will not be driven around, but instead used as a show piece. It probably isn’t street legal, anyway.

Recently, a certain Project Slingshot was revealed by the guys at MWDesign.

The tuners really did their best to upgrade the Z4, and the result is satisfying, to say the least. Under the hood, the BMW Z4 has a new ECU from Dinan Engineering.

MWDesign also fitted the vehicle with an exhaust system from IND Distribution and Eisenmann USA. Add a new intercooler and diverter valves, and Project Slingshot’s power is bumped up to 400 Hp.

On the styling front, MWDesign didn’t go nuts, as the BMW Z4 has a nice flow to it. Drawing inspiration from Nike and its new golf clubs (yeah, sure), MWDesign went with contrasting lime green accents on the vehicle’s black paint. For that extra something, they also hoisted the car on H1 20 inch wheels.

This spotted E85 BMW Z4 has been spotted (pardon the pun) on the streets of Beijing and it really puts other projects into perspective. If you thought metallic pink BMWs were the worst, think again, as the bar has again been lowered.

Whatever possessed him / her to butcher a perfectly good bimmer is beyond me. The pink wheels and grille go along just fine with the leopard spots pattern, all painting a vivid picture of kitsch and lechery. This project is so insane, that I expect a porn star or a pimp to step out of it at any moment. And to think I was complaining about seeing too many tuned BMW M3.

To whoever owns this abominable E85 BMW Z4, please undo the damage. P.S. Is that a ticket on the screen wipers?
