The current BMW M5 CS facelift is the most powerful, lightest and most expensive M5 ever. But the German tuning company G-Power has found a new way to push the limits of the Bavarian sedan even further: with a series of performance packages, of course.

The basic package is called GP-700 and increases the power of the twin-turbo V8 engine, 4.4 liters, to 700 horsepower and 850 Nm, thanks to software improvements. Then comes the GP-740 with 740 hp and 900 Nm, and the GP-780 increases with another 40 hp and 50 Nm.

In addition to the software changes, the GP-820 version also offers some hardware, which is why the power rises to 820 hp and 1,000 Nm. The top version, the GP-900, is by far the most impressive.

It includes, among other things, new turbines and a four-millimeter four-end exhaust system. These make the V8 engine develop 900 horsepower and 1,050 Nm.

Aesthetically, G-Power offers forged wheels up to 21 inches in diameter, a carbon hood and a discreet aileron.

The price of the new performance packages varies between 2,495 and 23,640 euros.

Let’s take some of the most iconic supercars of the moment: the most powerful Ferrari that can be registered, the F12 Berlinetta, produces exactly the same power as this X5. Then, the most powerful Lamborghini, which is the Aventador SV 6.5 V12, is capable of developing 750 hp. However, none of the two can climb the Everest.

Anyway, we’re talking about an SUV capable of beating most of the sports cars in a lap on Nurburgring. But just how fast was the original BMW X5 M? It’s pretty damn fast from the beginning: it does 100 km/h in only 4.2 seconds, thanks to its 575 hp and 750 Nm.

Now, what improvements could bring 165 hp and 230 Nm of torque more? Obviously, a lot! However, G-Power didn’t made public all the numbers. They only said that the top speed is somewhere over 300 km/h barrier, while the quarter of mile takes 11,5 seconds.

That’s a half of a second faster than the 2015 F10 BMW M5! It’s even 0.3 seconds faster than the iconic Ferrari F40! So, it’s seriously fast. To be in line with the true supersport champions, the engineers replaced the stock exhaust, with a special bespoke titanium one, the superchargers with bigger ones, the downpipes and upgraded the software, with a Bi-Tronik 2 V3 one.

At the beginning, this was an M6 Gran Coupe. And, in some ways, it still is. But it was refined by the G-Power specialists, which guarantee its tremendous performance. They kept the V8, 4.4 liter original engine, but added extra horses.

If the original version developed an impressive 560 hp and 680 Nm, the german tuner added extra 180 hp and 295 Nm. Now, the 4 doors coupe is probably capable of a 0-100 km/h acceleration of 3 seconds. Probably, because the tuner didn’t made it public.

What they did was to remove the limiter, allowing the car to reach 325 km/h, and to reveal its 0-200 km/h acceleration time: 10.5 seconds. Which is pretty damn fast, especially for a 4 door, 2 tones car. The beast is also very drivable, maintaining the maximum torque between 3,100 and 5,500 rpm. So, good bye kickdown!

If some of you are curious about the methods used to achieve these incredible performances, I’ll explain. They modified its software, adding a module, for €3,750. Then, they redesigned from scratch the exhaust system. It is now made of titanium and ends with four carbon fiber tailpipes. Its price is €6,493, but once you’ll hear it, you won’t ask why.

The downpipes have been optimized and the catalytic converters have been replaced, adding power and pulling €3,860 from your wallet. In the end, the exterior had been garnished with a 7,649 EUR, 21 inch set of Hurricane forged wheels.

In order to achieve their ambitious purpose, they had to begin with a fast, big and mean car. It wasn’t too difficult to decide: the X6 M comes bundled with all these attributes. So they had a car.

Next, they had to modify it, which was a little harder, because…well…it was already damn fast.

First, they took both turbochargers and changed their compressor wheels, making them lighter, for less inertia and a better throttle response. They’ve reassembled the puzzle and balanced the wheels, at different rotation speeds, up to 250.000 rpm.

Then, a whole new, less restrictive titanium exhaust system had to be fitted. The two pairs of 102 mm tailpipes flank the large, underbody diffuser.

In the end, they remaped the ECU, to keep up with the increased air flow provided by the two turbochargers. The exact amount of fuel, the precise ignition point, the boost pressure and the air quantity have been set to adapt the new conditions.

The result makes the car feel like a real typhoon in a crowd of summer wind-like SUV’s: the V8, 4.4 liter, supercharged engine develops 740 hp and 980 Nm. These numbers are big enough to catapult the 2.35 tones Typhoon to 300 km/h and help it cover the ¼ mile in 11.5 seconds!

Surely, to send such amount of power to the ground, the 315/25ZR23 tyres need to work hard. Same thing with keeping the car on road, as the front spoiler pushes down the front axle even more than the original one.

Let’s keep in mind that all those vents had nothing to do with the looks of the car, as they were developed to cool the engine bay in a more efficient way. Being cool is just a bonus! They are the result of 12 months of simulations and tests.

Until we’ll have some clips with the new G-Power Typhoon, let’s watch the 725 hp engine of the previous version accelerating to 300 km/h.

The new BMW M4 tuning kit comes with several styling and performance tweaks for a complete overhaul. Under the hood, the 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine get 560 horses and 720 Nm of torque.

With no less than 129 additional horses and 170 Nm of torque, the 0-100 km/h acceleration is possible in just 3,8 seconds with a top speed of 310 km/h. As you probably know by now, G-Power likes to refresh the appearance of their cars too.

Therefore, the BMW M4 Coupe gets new Gun Metal Grey, Jet Black and Stardust Silver finishes for the 21-inch HURRICANE RR wheels. The front rims are fitted with 245/30 ZR21 tires while the rear one get 295/25 ZR21 tires from Michelin. Other improvements brought by G-Power include a much lighter titanium exhaust system.

It features a sound flap in the silencer that can be controlled remotely. The new system is over 7 kilograms lighter so it helps a lot with the performance. With this been said, be sure to check the photo gallery below for a closer look.

The 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine is now capable to produce 650 horsepower and 830 Nm of torque thanks to the G-Power Bi-Tronik 5 V1 module. The latter improves the performance by tweaking the throttle response and is fairly simple to use because it is plug & play.

According to G-Power, the extra power enables a top speed of 300 km/h. However, they released no additional figures about any improvements for the 0-100 km/h sprint time of the BMW X6 M.

At the exterior, G-Power fitted the BMW X6 M with a new set of Hurricane RR forged alloy wheels measuring 23-inch. The massive rims are shod in high-performance 315/25 tires from Michelin.

The orange brake calipers that hide behind the wheels are the only contrasting parts for this kit. Pricing and availability details were not released yet by G-Power.

In stock configuration, the unit produced 313 hp and 640 Nm of torque but thanks to some improvements to the ECU, the specialists from G-Power squeezed a total of 380 hp and 755 Nm of torque.

The standard 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 4,7 seconds should be improved too. However, the company released no further details in this regard.

Few subtle design changes are also present on G-Power’s model. We talk about a new set of 20-inch Hurricane RR wheels. The forged aluminum rims are shod in low-profile high-performance tires. With this been said, the BMW 4-Series got a nice little kit from a renowned tuner.

“Next to the power output increase G-POWER is offering the option to delete the serial top speed restriction, as well,” adds the company.

Both BMW M3 and BMW M4 have received some upgrades under the hood, the sports cars receiving a revamped Bi-Tronik 2 ECU, the titanium exhaust system with the 90-mm tailpipes, as well as the G-Power downpipes. Surely that all these came for the right price: 2,750 euros for the Bi-Tronika 2 V2 ECU, 1,610 euros for the G-Power downpipes and 5,1640 euros for the G-Power exhaust system.

But what about the figures? 560 horsepower and 720 Nm of torque, which is quite impressive as opposed to the stock 425 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque. And the sprint is also outstanding: just 3.8 seconds to take down the 0 to 100 km/h straight short run.

Add up the 21-inch HURRICANE RR forged wheels, for no less than 7,640 euros and you have a hell of a ride, especially since they are highly performance with the ultra-light aluminum structure, which provide more grip and stance on the roads or tracks.

However, this is not the case anymore as G-Power managed to squeeze no less than 740 horses and 975 Nm of torque. In order to get the extra power, the specialists from G-Power opted for a revised electronic engine management system.

Carbon fiber tailpipes and a new titanium exhaust system with racing catalysts were also used for this purpose. As a result, G-Power’s BMW M5 is capable to sprint from 0 to 200 km/h in 10,5 seconds before hitting a top speed of 350 km/h.

This tuning kit is mainly focused on the performance improvements but there are some styling ones too. At the exterior, the German tuner fitted new 21-inch alloy wheels, the G-Power Hurricane RR forged rims with 255/30 (front) and 295/25 (rear) tires, to be more precise.

In conclusion, we talk about extra 89 horses and 150 Nm (110 lb-ft) of torque, enough power to improve the 0-100 km/h sprint time by 0,2 seconds.

Thus, G-Power’s BMW M4 needs only 3,9 seconds to accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h with a top speed of 325 km/h.

In terms of styling, buyers will get a new set of 20-inch alloy wheels fitted with special Michelin tires, a set of wheels that cost nearly €8,000, more than the €3,358 for the power boost and €3,451 for the V-MAX lift kit combined. All in all, is up to you if you want both the extra power and the new wheels or just one of them.
