The 1-Series from BMW comprises two important models, the M125i as well as the M135i, both coming with distinctive design lines which make them pretty sexy and separate them from the rest of the class.
And even if they don’t impress too much from a performance perspective, they remain one of the most hunted down models from the class. The reason is pretty obvious: they are small and provide the best quality price ratio. Not to mention that the chicks love them.
One of them, the BMW M135i, was recently put for a display at BMW`s preferred Abu Dhabi showroom, the model standing quietly and waiting for its audience in a gorgeous and exotic Valencia Orange.
It may not impress much with a plethora of added bits as we have expected from a BMW on a display at Abu Dhabi, but perhaps this wasn’t the intention. And sometime, the beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I personally like it the way it is, as the color and the one-off set of wheels from the M Performance catalog say it all.
Changes didn’t occur under the hood either, the model still enjoying the fine and “quiet” 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine, with 321 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, which is just enough to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. The power is sent to the rear axle via a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic.
