Until that is going to happen the pre-existing 1 Series coupes on the market are getting a bit more popular. Just enough to make owners worry.

As a result, the tuning companies are the ones that need to watch for the customer in need of a car which can stand out. Rieger Tuning has something on the books.

They can make the E82 1 Series Coupe look more impressive than the standard one by cheating. They aren’t exactly Dick Dastardly maneuvers but honesty is not the policy at use.

Essentially, we’re looking at a German tuning company which very efficiently makes your 1 Series look like the M Coupe model by virtue of the lower body kit.

Being at the lower end of the purchase doesn’t mean that you don’t have to look as though your cheap, right? I’m afraid that as much as people want to, that’s not the case.

Having a car that looks like the BMW 1 Series M Coupe doesn’t make it one. Thankfully, Rieger Tuning has some solid engineering to back the look up.

Stuff like 19 inch BBS CH-R alloys alongside Hankook S1 Evo tires and a KW coilover set-up for the suspension keeping it all in one place.

The package is made out of ABS plastic so at least weight is not really the problem.

Basically, no self respecting tuner or manufacturer could miss out on it, which is why Vorsteiner showcased the most important piece of craftsmanship on their list.

With that in mind, it’s no surprise to see them opt for the Vorsteiner GTRS5 package they developed for the E92 BMW M3 Coupe.

It’s a widebody kit we’ve actually covered before that brings full racing car aero body work to the E92 Coupe that you use on the road.

The paint job and the oversized alloy wheels may be a tad too much for anybody to take a car like this serious as a racer but the floors or SEMA are built on stuff like this.

If we’re to really sync our talk on the alloy wheels, there are some positive points to the discussion. For starters, they’re very light units.

Aside from minimizing the un-sprung weight, the wheels are the perfect mounting space for some seriously high performance tires.

Speaking of which, Vorsteiner don’t really offer any actual mechanical improvements for the situation under the bonnet.

Since they offer a new wide body kit, there is a lot more room for such mods and we all know this website is full of possible options on that front.

The only thing that’s making me curious about this Vorsteiner GTRS5 E92 BMW M3 Coupe they’ve showcased at SEMA is why is Giovanna written on the side?

If you have managed to get yourself an older generation E85 model and you still have some money lying around to spare, you can easily get some serious bang for your buck.

There are quite a few modifications you can do for yourself but there’s also some packages you can get from seriously big names in the industry.

It wasn’t so long ago that German tuner AC Schnitzer were making their ACS4 kit for the E85 BMW Z4 and they weren’t very expensive.

Prices ranged depending on what you wanted to do, they would even make parts for the somewhat rarer coupe version of your car.

In terms of performance, there’s not much to consider. The ACS4 kit only comes with a 3.91 : 1 rear axle ratio and some aero tweaks.

The ratio change improves acceleration at the detriment of top speed whereas the aerodynamics only really work at the higher end.

Perhaps you should focus on the aesthetic bits for your E85 BMW Z4 and think about stuff like wheel and tire setups rather than anything else.

You can have 20 inch alloy wheels, performance tires and, if you really feel like it, a set of upgraded brakes. These are very difficult to justify when there’s no added performance and you’re on a budget.

Either way, an AC Schnitzer BMW will still have presence when it comes to rolling around town, not race tracks.

That’s quite a rare thing in China, a place where what really matters is just how much space you have in the back of your luxury car.

Furthermore, the company responsible for making the 3 Series Coupe is BMW-Brilliance. There’s no heavy tuner name involved at all.

What really matters here is the exterior look of the car. We’re guessing it’s not a DIY job and that the owner did get some help in making it happen.

As is fashionable nowadays, this E92 BMW 3 Series Coupe was not painted but wrapped in vinyl. The color of choice is Baby Blue.

That’s a risky choice to say the least. The name is obviously a pathetic one but the look of the car is the overall look.

The lines of the BMW 3 Series Coupe remain unharmed, the lack of shine doesn’t ruin the shading they create and the exclusivity is something worth while.

There’s a bit of a concern with the way this car stands out. BMW products are genuinely supposed to have a somewhat distinct presence but they should also be understated.

That’s something that really went away when it got wrapped in baby blue and it started to stand out in a crowd in the same way a tank does at a Greenpeace car park.

I don’t think it works, i don’t think it works at all, but maybe there are people out there who think otherwise.

While the idea and branding may not be the most honest and true words in the world, the Cam Shaft tuning BMW M3 Coupe that’s supposed to have some this tuning is pretty interesting.

The German tuner started their work with the now on its last legs E92 BMW M3 Coupe and made a few modifications to the looks without messing about with the performance.

Some say that’s not a good idea but if you really know how good the standard BMW M3 is, maybe you can appreciate the need to stand out more than the need for more speed.

They may have fitted an Akrapovic exhaust system with new cats but that’s mostly done for the sound effect rather than anything else.

Some additional carbon fiber trim pieces go on but the weight loss is so small it will be all washed away if you grab a jacket with you.

The only slight worry is the fact that Cam Shaft tuning claim to have fitted some sort of sportier suspension bits which almost certainly means they’ve spoiled the ride quality altogether.

Hey, at least you have an excuse to go slow since the exterior is on show-off mode all the time with its metallic space gray vinyl wrap and its new 19 inch BBS alloy wheels.

The exterior changes add up to just over 3200 USD however there’s no mention on the cost of the exhaust or the suspension.

While everything does sound like the company is actually based in China since the first name seems to be French for Studio.

Anyway, it’s not the branding that we’re so bothered about and the car, a BMW 1 Series M Coupe actually seems to be considerably important.

With the new exterior tweaks, everything about the BMW 1 Series M Coupe seems to follow in the path of its bigger brother.

It only seems natural that the BMW M3 is something to follow up to when you’re the smallest brother of the M division family.

The tuner didn’t really aim to keep up with the BMW M3 at any rate but actually wanted to target one of the high end models, particularly the M3 GTS.

At the moment we’re only looking at an exterior set of mods and an updated paint scheme. Otherwise the technical stuff is standard.

The orange paint and black details hide off a new rear wing, slightly different bumpers and upgraded spiltter and vented hood.

There’s no plan at this point to fit it with the 4.4 liter monster the GTS has but we do know from a certain Egyptian project that a V8 will fit under its bonnet.

At the moment I’m not a big fan of the Studie AG Japan BMW 1M Coupe right now but it does have the potential to get somewhere very interesting.

This particular unit is special because alongside the new design looks the 1 Series Coupe also gets some performance tweaks underneath the body.

It’s a seriously thorough job and since they started with the 135i you now we’re not going to spend too much time talking about the beauty of fuel economy.

The once fairly efficient 3.0 liter straight six with TwinPower turbocharging technology has had all the efficiency beaten out of in order to produce more power.

Add in the following: an Eisenmann Racing exhaust with Zeller Nachkats cat-back, Bavaria Performance downpipes, Wagner FMIC and a MS-Chiptuning Stage 3+ package.

Together, all of these changes bump the power up to precisely 420 horsepower. Does that figure seem familiar?

Even if it doesn’t the fitting of that kind of power in a BMW 1 Series M Coupe isn’t something to cry over. Actually, it is if you’re caught out by the surprise of that kind of grunt.

Hopefully, you won’t though, because then you’d stuff a very rare car with a beautiful Prior Design exterior body kit.

You’d also be destroying one of those garage and vision built fan cars that aim to replicate the BMW 1 Series M Coupe.

This one may come short on suspension and differential toys but it’s got quite a bit more power and what looks like a great interior.

Just about every toy has been upgraded and almost all of the fittings are now of a higher quality. For a kick off just look at the M3 instrument cluster and that pedal and seat layout.

Alpha-N Performance, for example, have just announced their BT92 project. It’s based on the E92 BMW 3 Series Coupe, particularly the 335i version.

The German tuner has covered pretty much all the basis of tuning and from the look of it there’s nothing to complain about.

The BT92 will be receiving engine upgrades, handling aids and a revised exterior look with plenty of weight reduction components included in the mix.

Starting with the engine, the 3.0 liter turbocharged straight six receives a new turbo, a new intercooler, a remapped ECU and a sport exhaust system with mid mounted tailpipes.

The end result sees the Alpha-N Performance BT92 develop 450 horsepower, pretty much the same amount of grunt estimated to be held by the next generation of the M3.

Handling updates come in the form of a KW coilover suspension, new 19 inch alloys and Hankook performance tires.

Another major contribution here will belong to the revised high-performance brakes and the 551 lbs that was shaved off the final weight.

As you’d imagine, that much lost weight, even after the fitting of a rollcage means that most of the interior was taken out, the seats are now Recaro buckets and even the steering wheel is lighter.

The exterior panels are also pretty impressive since they’ve been reshaped to aid the air flowing over, under and around the BMW 335i Coupe.

Currently the kit is still under development but Alpha-N Performance have already won a special place in my heart.

It’s something the Germans call the Alpina B6 Bi-Turbo Coupe, which is basically one of the best tuning options you have for the BMW 6 Series.

The prominent looks of the BMW 6 Series shine through from underneath but Alpina’s new body kit and the rather large multi-spoke wheels they’re keen on fitting make the B6 instantly recognizable.

Other than those wheels and the subtle yet aerodynamics enhancing body kit Alpina only fits the B6 Bi-Turbo Coupe with a rear wing.

That might sound discouraging to most people. It’s unfair, just because every NFS fan out there wants to have one on his car doesn’t mean that all the rest are rubbish because of that.

Moving on to more pleasant things, the long and shapely bonnet houses a twin-turbocharged all aluminium V8 engine which gets quite a few changes going on.

The result of all that fiddling comes in at 540 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. That’s nearly as much power as the factory developed M6.

Not too shabby really, if you want a six series that puts looks above the aggression and performance of the M6, the Alpina B6 Bi-Turbo is certainly an option.

Especially since, unlike the M6, the Alpina B6-Bi-Turbo Coupe is already available on the market and the Convertible shared a stand with in Geneva as well.
