The brand new, still incredibly rare product can be made even harder to lose in the car park by fitting a brand new body kit from Hamann Motorsport.

Better aerodynamics is what a company with motorsport roots with normally try to sell you when it comes to stuff like this. In fairness, it’s probably true in some cases.

In this particular case I’d say it’s the need to showoff that comes on top of the positive dynamic effects. Even if the cooling is better there’s no excuse here.

Let’s get over ourselves, most tweaked BMWs hardly see a proper hot footed run, let alone some actual track action for around an hour or so.

If the engine is still standard (as this package doesn’t include performance mods for it) the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe receives sufficient air to cool itself in most conditions.

That makes all those extra vents and scoops an exercise in overkill. The carbon fiber bonnet is perhaps the tackiest example of tuning we’ve seen from Hamann so far.

The company’s Anniversary Evo Hyper Black 21 inch alloy wheels go on. They look great but as they’re the same units used on the F12 BMW 6 Series, seem to lack some effort.

A BMW interior is not something to snuff at yet the German tuner offers all sorts of upmarket materials such as Alcantara, high quality leather and wood.

Also, the floor mats are replaced and the pedals are now aluminium.

The guys at Project Kahn are actually infamous for the way they only do some aesthetic tweaks of the SUVs that roam around London’s high street.

With vast experience in Range Rovers and other trendy bruisers, why not have a look at the very public presence of the X6?

Not only did they change the car they’d work on, the British tuner also went about normal business in a different manner. This time they’re showcasing the interior first.

Black, carbon leather and Alcantara seem to overwhelm the interior of the Bavarian beast in remarkably fine quality, the likes of which not even BMW would manage.

The customization work also extends to the dials, as swell as some Kahn specific custom tweaks. Usually, they say they can do anything the buyer wants to the interior and show us what’s outside.

Judging by what we see here, their claims seem legitimate. The exterior on the other hand is very familiar. They’r own enormous alloys are ever present and as striking as ever.

A new body kit is fitted which tends to just about every panel on the car and it is then covered in some special blue paint that’s about as glossy as some of the magazines covering such cars.

Finishing everything off is done with a set of black accents on the radiator grille, the side-view mirrors and the window tints.

It all started with their handsome interpretation of the F10 M5, carried on with the F30 3 Series and now went down to the smallest member of the family.

The F20 BMW 1 Series got remade by 3D Design in the company’s usual presence, with all the bells whistles and some decent partners.

Considering they offer something they call a full line of exterior accessories, it’s obvious you’re not getting the standard body kit.

The aerodynamics are completely worked over and yet are just the tip of the iceberg. Obviously, the alloy wheels are coming in as the next more striking thing.

Unusually, they’re not telling us what dimensions are used on it. Going on with the zoom, you can appreciate the new exhaust systems on offer as well as the interior components.

That exhaust system is pretty interesting in itself, mostly for the new sound it generates out of the relatively small engines in the 1 Series.

It’s also crucial for the rather exposed back end. That’s perhaps the first controversial bit of tuning we’re yet to see from 3D Design.

Allegedly, the exhaust system was developed alongside a company called Arqray. That sounds… almost familiar somehow.

Either way, the interior of the 3D Design tuning F20 BMW 1 Series is where the highlights are to be appreciated in their entirety.

There aren’t any comments there and nor are there any on the company’s decision to soon offer some mods for the chassis.

Don’t worry though, the German tuner is not about to neglect the way this incredibly well performing Bavarian brute treats its passengers.

The E92 M3 isn’t exactly a class leader in terms of what it has inside but there’s enough in there to please most folks.

Once you move into the realm of G-Power and custom crazy power, it’s by no means enough. Which is why the tuner is hoping that their full leather treatment will fare better.

Not only did they cover the whole thing in leather from the finest flock of well groomed Bavarian cows, they’ve had a bit of a tweak done to the color scheme.

A two tone effect is carried throughout as there’s a very fine contrast between the black and beige they used for the interior.

Some Alcantara was used on the steering wheel and therefore everything you see and touch inside one of the properly equipped BMW M3s that were updated by G-Power performance bits is great.

Or rather will be. The images we have here are of the interior of the G-Power 720 hp are currently labeled as being under development.

Since G-Power isn’t a major manufacturer but a tuning company with a get up and go attitude the project should be ready in a few weeks.

Now that’s pretty active stuff we’re dealing with.

What we need is something that can make your house feel cooler than it really is. How about a proper look at Kelleners Sport’s take on the F10 BMW M5.

We did get a preview of the idea an we do know what to expect, but the big question is this, did they manage to overcome our expectations?

From the look of things, the Kelleners Sport F10 BMW M5 hasn’t changed since the preview, something that’s fine by us.

The exterior look is the same but we do get to see more details of the affair this time. We can seriously appreciate the 20 inch Hamburg design alloy wheels.

We can do the same with the revised body kit which pretty much replaces the entire lower part of the F10 BMW M5’s body.

Current trend lovers will also appreciate the matte black paint covering the whole thing whereas performance aficionados will love the carbon fiber and real speed gaining tweaks.

There’s an adjustable coilover kit which replaces the standard suspension and a new exhaust system with a beefier sound.

According to the newly fitted speedometer, there’s the potential for some really high speeds as 340 km/h is where it can go up to.

Speaking of the interior of the Kelleners Sport F10 BMW M5, there’s some very lovely quilted leather covering most of it.

Nothing outrageous, there’s no surprising million horsepower under the bonnet and the seats don’t even have ejector buttons.

The surprise with Project Kahn’s work is that this lightly tuned SUV is not a Land Rover made model. The British tuner actually took on a German.

It’s the Bavarian built BMW X5, particularly the xDrive30d version. You wouldn’t really be able to tell what model is on display but you certainly know what car we’re talking about.

Getting back to the actual tuning, obviously the big fat 22 inch RSL alloy wheels painted in a Silver Palladium finish.

The color of the wheels is only relevant if you’re to consider the way it makes the new stealthy black paint stand out from the crowd.

An eagle eyed enthusiast will notice that the BMW X5 xDrive 30d by Project Kahn also comes with an unusual brake caliper color for the Bavarians.

That’ll be a Liquid Red shade that’s usually reserved to some of the most agitated of sports cars. All of these details together should make for quite the performance package right?

Wrong, beyond the subtly refreshed exterior of the Kahn BMW X5 xDrive30d, we find nothing more than the standard performance drivetrain.

That’s quite the makeover in details but what is a rather questionable decision is the one that Kahn took when they swapped out the instrument panel.

However not even they could have had a BMW 7 Series on their hands and mistreated it in their usual fashion.

Words like subtle and discrete may be a little to ambitious, but it’s not so bad that you couldn’t use words like “not hideous”.

That may have been a little mean. Or not, I really think it’s a deserved description for the large luxury barge that is the F01.

On the brighter side, the Mansory BMW 7 Series still looks mostly like an actual 7 Series, so not all has been lost with this particular model.

The Swedish tuner only focuses on the big time models such as the 750i and 760i. Even so, there’s a couple of upgrades going on in the engine department.

Should your heart desire for the V8 you’ll be getting 490 instead of 400 horsepower.

If the V12 flavor is what’s captivating your soul, the news is even better, 544 hp is turned into 640. All that added power will make the Mansory BMW 760i capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 in just 4.2 seconds.

Not bad really, especially when you consider the new set of 22″ wheels they fit isn’t aimed at performance but looks.

Those who appreciate the interior of such an image machine more than the exterior or performance will be glad to know Mansory opted for the best materials to garnish it with.

There’s stuff like burl wood, leather or ultra-suede. Carbon fiber is the only stuff that doesn’t really fit in.

The Germans have worked their magic once again and though this package looks substantially different from the one you get as standard, the Hartge Z4 still feels like a Bavarian product.

And if you reckon the look is something to admire, the technology underneath it is probably going to be soothing.

Under the bonnet, Hartge offers up special package s for the sDrive35i and the sDrive35is packages (the sDrive28i is the one that’s missing).

The mid range six cylinder engine goes from the standard 306 horsepower up to 340. The torque figure is also improved and now stands at 369 lb-ft.

The more potent version of the same engine starts at 340 horsepower but goes all the way up to 401, with a new torque figure standing at 391 lb-ft.

Everything was simply achieved thanks to an ECU remap and a new exhaust kit. At least the handling package does feature a new suspension.

From here on we get to that body I was talking about earlier. It’s much better looking than ever before and it’s complete.

The Hartge BMW Z4 gets a fresh front spoiler and
HARTGE lip for boot lid as well as a few other more upgrades that are trickier to spot.

Inside the Hartge BMW Z4 E89 there’s a liberal use of fine materials, aluminium polished bits and a further refined level of leather.

While all this is going the older version isn’t too eager to disappear from the scene. This could be quite the market opportunity for the guys over a AC Schnitzer.

They have a special tuning kit ready for the previous version of the BMW X1 for a couple of years now and it might just make a comeback.

A new body kit consists of a fresh front bumper, different sideskirts and a new rear bumper. All of these make quite the basis for aggression with the CUV.

These changes are complemented by a lowered suspension kit and the option of having new alloy wheels ranging between 18 and 20 inches.

Moving higher up the body of the “old” BMW X1, AC Schnitzer fits a new hood with special air intakes and a new rear spoiler.

Step inside the AC Schnitzer BMW X1 and you’ll find special treats all over the place but most of the essence of the CUV remains.

More of the same can be found once the bonnet is lifted. The German tuner offers up a power package for each of the engines available under its bonnet.

The BMW X1 xDrive18d is tweaked up to 171 hp, the BMW X1 xDrive20d gets 210 horsepower and the N20 petrol engine is tweaked up to around 270 horsepower.

I’m talking about the Alpina B3 GT3 which is quite frankly the best kept secret of having a car that’s nearly as fast as the M3 yet isn’t a cliche.

I’ll be honest though, if you’re going to go for the proper Alpina feeling, you might want to lose the “boy racer” looks from the package and stick to what’s underneath and the wheels.

The spoiler is also a little too much but everything underneath is pretty much the best package you can get with the E92 BMW 3 Series.

Sure, you don’t get the impressive 4.0 liter V8 but a tuned version of the 3.0 liter straight six sounds much more pleasant in a BMW even if it has twin turbos.

Thanks to some Alpina work and an Akrapovic exhaust system that engine now develops 408 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque.

It makes for a bit less powerful powerplant than the M3 but you do get quite a bit more torque which makes the car a lot easier to live with under medium to low speed acceleration.

The interior of the Alpina B3 GT3 gets quite a lot of work done. The materials are upgraded to Alpina’s preference, the dials are blue and the trim is color coordinated to the exterior.

The most important changes of that equation are the Alcantara covered steering wheel and the newly fitted bucket seats make everything a lot more interesting.
