Lately, we have seen a dozen of M4 GTS models receiving plenty of customizations around their bodies, inside the cabin, as well as under the hood. However, each one came out with an impressive set of new wheels from different wheel tuning firms like Vorsteiner, Vossen Wheels, HRE Wheels or Wheels Boutique.

This time we have the chance to see the exquisite BMW M4 GTS with a set of new wheels from HRE tuner, a frequent firm that deals with BMW customizations.

Even is the M4 GTS is available in the stock form with high-performance wheels – M Carbon Compound wheels, which are track-focused – the model can also be customized with other professional wheels from tuning firms like HRE.

In this case, the technicians from Wheels Boutique have installed the high-performance HRE R101 Lightweight wheels, also seen on other models like the M2, M3 or standard M4. They measure 20 x 9.5 and 20 x 11 front and rear, respectively, and are finished in Satin Charcoal. A new set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires were also installed. These are forged wheels specifically built for road use, providing increased stance and better grip. They also make the M4 GTS in question more aggressive.

At the exterior, the BMW M4 GTS comes in standard form while under the hood the M4 GTS brags with a stock yet powerful 3.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder engine (it is not the same engine as its smaller sibling M4), churning out an impressive 493 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque. Paired to a seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission, equipped with Drivelogic, the M4 GTS sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in a staggering 3.6 seconds.

And if yoe are amongst one of the 800 BMW purists to own such a car, then it would be a pity not to have it wrapped with a nice colour and a few add-ons at the exterior. Not because the car wouldn’t look gorgeous in the stock form.

The project below has been put together by TAG Motorsports tuner, meaning new wheels and a couple of styling components. We are dealing here with a new set of HRE 19- and 20-inch front and rear wheels, with brushed copper inserts and silver spokes.

The wheels look smashing with the new rear diffuser with orange accents and the massive rear wing. The model can be also adorned with new front and rear bumpers, depending on the customer`s wishes.

As for the performance figures, the BMW M4 GTS uses an upgraded 3.0-liter S55 engine with water injection, to allow 500 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque. With 280 km/h on board or higher 305 km/h with the M Driver`s Package, the sports car reaches 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds.

One of the most tuned-up models from BMW is no other than the BMW M4 Coupe, shortly followed by the M3 Sedan. However, the M4 Convertible is also pacing up with lots of interesting styling packages as well.

Such a fine specimen with lots of aftermarket parts is the below M4 Convertible, recently receiving the visit of Schmidt Revolution tuning company. The car`s main highlights refer to the new body wrap and gorgeous alloy wheels, following as well a slight power boost under the hood.

As we can depict from the photos below, the technicians have wrapped this M4 Convertible with the gorgeous and eye-catching Daytona Grey, adding as well other body parts, like carbon fiber trim, Lowtec springs which bring the car closer to the ground, ceramic brakes, as well as new exhaust system with carbon end pipes, courtesy of Friedrich Motorsport tuning company.

And for the 6-Series Gran Coupe, the message is pretty clear: the one-off ALpina B6 Gran Coupe, an amazing vehicle with exquisite driving capabilities and potent powertrain.

Recently, the one-off model was sent to TAG Motorsports for some nice wheels to make the body styling more standout. No mods were added to the exterior, the tuner considering that the stock design is already impressive.

And what better wheels are fit for this gorgeous Alpina B6 Gran Coupe than the ones from ADV.1 Wheels tuner.

It is all about the ADV10 MV.2 SL alloy wheels, measuring 2×19.5 and 21×10 front and rear, finished in Brushed Aluminum. They are also wrap in Pirelli P Zero tires, sized 245/30/20 up front and 285/30/20 at the rear.

No mods were carried out under the hood, the model still packing the stock 4.4-liter bi-turbo V8 engine with an all-wheel drive, developing a staggering 540 horsepower and 540 lb-ft of torque. The hardcore B6 sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, at a topping of 324 km/h.

Despite the sheer power and performance, the BMW B6 Gran Coupe comes with proper fuel consumption, burning out 10.4L for every 100 km. The CO2 emissions also stand at 242 g/km.

In fact, I’d be willing to bet you have a much higher chance at seeing something like a Ferrari 458 Italia, than one of the new M6 convertibles.

Either way, people who are tuning enthusiasts want to make it look as if it’s their own car and that everybody knows it as soon as they have it delivered.

I’m not a big fan of this trend. This is mostly because recently released cars rarely get proper kits made up since tuning companies don’t have the time.

Even if they do have the kit ready in time, it can still often feel like money spent too early to matter for too little an effect.

What I do encourage people who buy a new car and want it to feel a bit distinctive is that they opt for a brand new set of wheels.

Alloys almost always improve the look of a car and they come with the added factor of availability. You can get some off the shelves or order ones to be made shortly without too much fuss.

You only have to be away from your car for a few minutes while they’re fitted, instead of hours or maybe even days in the case of extensive kits.

Which is what this car is showing off, a set of HRE S107 wheels painted in gloss charcoal.

So am I and so many people are actually impressed by what the car has to give that the tuning business isn’t really bothering too much with upgrading it in an exaggerated fashion.

In fact, most of the packages we get to see are so light that the alloy wheels are what’s going to be changed and if there is a body kit to consider, it’s usually borrowed.

The one here is the brainchild of K3 Projekt wheels and though the aesthetics have been altered, they’re signed by a different company.

iND is the company behind the front rear bumpers and the side skirts. Covering up the whole thing is a new Estoril Blue paint.

Quite the eye poping shade, and those BC Racing BR type coilovers serve up quite the suspension drop. You couldn’t tell this was an American conceived tune-up, could you?

Going for the full honors, the marketing folk at K3 Projekt Wheels even tell us they’ve fitted a BMS JB4 Stage 1 Tune, whatever that is.

At least the 20 inch alloy wheel setup we get and the Pirelli P-Zero tires are a must for anybody who’s at least a tiny bit serious about keeping the performance factor in the equation.

Those wheels are built in house and look just about stunning without appearing to have any kind of effort, without any explanation needed or any apologies available.

They’ve recently released a video where they decided to be the star of the show and forget the pointless bumpers and performance addons others have in their lineup.

Once you get over yourself, even the hardcore tuner fans will admit that the wheels and tires on a car make an enormous difference.

The wheels are also quite likely the first thing any tuning enthusiast will change on a car when they feel there’s a need for some extra buzz.

In this case, Vossen Wheels are ready to fit the E92 with a VVS-CV4 set. These rollers are finished in Matte Graphite and feature a multi-spoke design.

Sizes come in at 20×9 for the front wheels and wider 20×10.5 at the back. Unfortunately, the tires they recommend or come with are not recommended.

That’s a bit of a shame, but we’ll live with. We’ll also live with the tastefully tweaked E92 M3 Vossen Wheels used as a demo.

What isn’t so easy to live with is the way the video starts with a dyno test. You’d expect the car to be pumping out several million million horsepower.

Actually, that’s not the case, the point of the dyno showcase is yet to be determined but we’ll go with: “watch our wheels spinning around very fast”.

It works and even though there’s a discussion about comfort and stress for your back when running over the dips and bumps in a typical road.

Tuning companies and creators of various custom accessories for our cars will not hesitate to cash in on this situation.

This must be the explanation for the way a new set of wheels that were specifically designed by D2Forged for the BMW M6 have turned up right now.

According to the wheel making company, this was a specific product for the E64 BMW M6’s convertible counterpart. Though that sounds unusual there’s a good amount of sense in it.

When you fit a performance car that’s already pretty stiffly damped with 21 inch alloy wheels, you are probably going to never drive it anyway other than slow.

Boulevard cruising is probably the only thing your spine can take with this setup and that seems just as well since the whole point is showing off.

The multi-spoke alloys aren’t particularly light, particularly strong, particularly easy to clean or particularly useful.

If you can appreciate the beauty of a Gloss Black paint finish with an Interlagos Blue Lip Stripe and some extra darkened lug nuts.

Though generous in image offering of their new products, D2Forged wheels aren’t willing to hand out the details of weight and costs.

After specialist German tuner Alpina took the 7 Series and turned into their B7 model, some people considered it not to be enough.

These would be the people at Tunerworks who felt a touch-up was just enough to update the Alpina B7 to something a whole lot less “common”.

The changes they made aren’t really that impressive. Nothing was done to the engine and nothing changed about the interior.

After that, Tunerworks got down to business and fit the Alpina B7 with a new suspension kit and updated alloy wheels.

There’s plenty of people who are interested in the Alpina B7 but don’t really like the traditional alloys the company fits but the suspension may not be such a smart idea.

For one, Tunerworks actually used H&R suspension package which isn’t exactly well known for the softness of its ride.

That, alongside the lowered ride height might make it a rather uncomfortable day out. That’s not something you want from a large luxury sedan like the 7 Series.

The 22 inch ADV10 Deep Concave wheels also seem a little unfitting for such a car. They’d probably feel more at home on a 3 Series or other sporty models.

Maybe I’m out of place or maybe Tunerworks actually made a mistake in taking on the Alpina B7 with their tweaking decision.

We’re all entitled to some, so maybe we’ll see them do better work next time.

Once again, they’re giving the BMW X6 and the BMW X6 M all the attention with a new setup of rollers that can be specified regardless of model used.

We’re not sure if the new paint coat has anything to do with the new Schmidt Revolution wheels but the Germans have managed to once again mix them up properly.

This time, the look has nothing to do with the glitz of the Rhino package but the matte finish will certainly grab its fans along the way.

Getting to the core of the problem; Schimdt Revolution tell us we’re dealing with a set of alloys from their CC-Line that are painted in something called textured grey.

The shade isn’t very relevant since it’s hard to follow or identify from most angles. What is easy to tell is the new sizes and the fresh design.

Multi-spoke wheels still look great on big, bloated vehicles like the BMW X6 and the 22 inch proposition is still decently proportioned to the rest of the car.

Naturally, new wheels also means there’s a new set of tires to consider. In this case, Schimdt Revolution doesn’t shell out too many details but we do know they’re pretty big.

The rubber made garden rollers are 275 mm wide at the front and some 315 for the rear ones.
